Got my picture on the cover...
Gonna send 5 copies to my mother....

So, I see someone beat us and get the pic for his Icon. Good One.!!

What do we think about all this? I kinda feel sorry for him. And I guess that is just the 1st born in me. I didn't ruin my little brothers' lives that bad.

But, I can certainly see the big shadow he moved with. Thug MMA, dope dealer, murderer, turned to casual Jihad.

We want this kid to have a good defense. He is a citizen. He can still cut a deal.

So, I myself?....you guessed it. I don't care.

Couldn't help myself... Think it's quite ballsy RS chose him for the cover, but I suppose it's no different from a "Time" cover, just unexpected from RS...

In order to sell something that won't sell, (I've been there) outrage is the key. But, now the editor is in the shit.

No press freedom any more. Big problem. In my day, we laughed at this Rag. It was a joke from the beginning.

what i think is stupid about the whole thing is the rolling stone is a fucking music magazine. its not time or the daily tribune. it has nothing to do with this subject and as someone said they are basically going for shock value, and for the most part it worked. sad. i mean barrack obama is one thing, hes the president of the united states, he is worthy of a magazine cover, but this kid? give me a break

While I think this cover is in bad taste, you're wrong about the RS. It's widely known as a musical/political magazine.

Really, they can write about and put whatever the fuck they want on the cover of their magazine, whether they normally are a this magazine or a that magazine, its their fucking magazine to sell, not yours. If it offends you, real simple... don't buy it. un wad your fucking panties and get over it just as quick as you allowed it to offend you.

rolling stone has done shit like this before... it's a good publication, it gets respect because it is fearless and still makes for good reading in a sea of bullshit blogs and 140 character re-tweets....

i read the article and there's nothing overly controversial about it. it's a great piece.

why the hell is the cover getting so much attention? read the piece... geeeez.... the piece is worth it ...

personally im just giving my opinion on the matter, whether they put this kid on their magazine or not i wouldnt buy it. it doesnt really offend me at all as i said in previous posts, i wouldnt buy it if they gave me money to buy it. buy that doesnt mean we shouldnt be able to express how we feel about it, it is the subject of this post, i think

Because they made him look like a rock star on the cover. He killed an 8 year old kid among many others in a cowardly bombing attack.

Rolling Stone had a right to do it and their distributors had a right to boycott it. Capitalism at it's finest.
