Got that right... that paper is hardly worth the ink that was used to print it.
I will give props to the creator of the software. It does look good and could be very useful to those who breed normal plants like flowers, roses, and such. It does seem multi-functional for any kind of dedicated plant grower.

i guess if you have 50 differnt aged plants all different strains all with different feed requirements, it would be useful maybe, but i've used software and spreadsheets and logs and this and that and i always give up on it after a week. the novelty wears off as i realise i have no genuine need to be logging and checking dates and such, i find it pretty easy to remember "the pots dry, i should feed her" etc.

i mean how much can you smoke to not know what you're meant to be giving your plants and when

as said though, it could certainly be VERY useful to some people, depending on how their grow is setup etc.

tried the free download and I could see how it would be beneficial to track major items like harvest time, veg period vs. final weight/etc but the 3 plant limit is stupid and imho its not worth the money when I could just put in a little more effort and track those things on excel

I think you would be silly to have a digital copy of grow information.. sounds like a way to bring up data to use to convict you personally.

i odn't know the exact law on this, but i assume that they cannot convict you for having digital "evidence" without a physical crime. i mean i could walk into a police station and sit down in the waiting area and start talking my face off about how to grow marijuana, state that i have done in the apst et etc, at the end of the day thye can overhear me and put a tail on me due to my suspicious talk, but they an't turn around and arrest me without the actual plants mentioned in the stories.

In America I think it is a crime to conspire to grow, eg posting advise on a forum?

that may be the case in the UK too, as i say, really don't know, but if that is the case, that is bloody insane!

ideally just wait until the crosshair is aligned with obama's head and then squeeze the trigger, squeeze don't pull.

i should be getting the electric chair before toooo long then  madnessss

Not what I mean. I mean assuming you were to get busted and law enforcement were to confiscate your computer and do a forensic-style data recovery and read your previous grows, they may be able to charge you on more than one charge (like trafficking, distribution, intent to distribute, cultivation, posession, etc.) simply by seeing your past records you left trace of.

digital evidence is bull shit if you ask me. its not like some DEA weed pro is going to look at your strand, see that its a blueberry, match that to your blueberry in your computer, and call you out on it. you would have to write down in your log that your growing acutally marijuana at such and such location, and you have done so for this many years and this is the log that has always kept track of it. log away, not shit going to happen. i like the idea of a log, because i can look at past logs and see which ones yielded the most, and what conditions in the room caused me to loose an ounce here and there. if keeping a detailed log could be used as evidence, than so can all the pictures on your computer of your grow op. which aint gonna happen. pictures are pictures, and logs are logs.

First and foremost, I did not ask you.

Second off, do some homework. They would not have computer-forensics and data recovery if digital evidence was bullshit; hence the reason there is metadata (IPTC, EXIF, etc.) in pictures from your camera, individualized marks that each printer leaves on paper (a forensic trail, almost like a signature), and so on and so forth.

If digital evidence is bull shit, people would never get tracked by their IP address, and I would not use VPN's nor TOR's.

All of that is used against you as evidence.

Agree with it all, except for your first point. You didn't need to ask him. This is an open forum.

I bought this program so far it is nice for tracking age and yields. As far as evidence for the feds, hell every post made by every person on this site can be used for evidence if the feds wanted to. Not hard to track the IP tied to the e-mail address you used to register here. If your paranoid follow rule #1 tell no one, that includes posting pictures and advice on a site like this. Just my opinion.
