Older/bottom leaves turning brown/dying?

I have some plants outdoors in garbage bags, filled with 2/3 organic soil and 1/3 store bought compost. I havent fertilized yet and they have been out in their new homes for about 2 weeks now. I figured i dont need to fertilize for a few weeks jsut like with seedlings. Im wondering if my bottom leaves are turning brown and dying because of too much ciompost in the mix or because i havent fertilized. Ive heard of people growing right on compost piles but that is their own home made compost , mine is store bought. Could mine be burning them, causing the lower leaves to die? Or is it lack of fertilizer, even though there should still be nutrients in the compost and soil, since they have only been in the garbage bags for a couple weeks? Anyone have this problem ever? My new growth looks fine, jsut bottom leaves on most of the plants are dying... help please :(

I dont have a pic but its easy to imagine haha, bottom leaves are browning from theoutside and moving inside till the whole leaf is dead, plants are about 1 monthold now.

I was thinking I would try that today, I have some ready ready, fish fertilizer mixed with some liquid worm castings. If the compost is causing this, will the plants get used to it?
