I figure this is an easier and quicker way to grow so i just want to try it... plus i have limited space but..

1. Since the plants don't get as big this way, approx what size pot would i need? would 12" tall pots be enough?
2. I'm using 23 watt 27K CFLs, is 3 enough per plant?
3. Will MiracleGrow fertilizer3month soil work fine? and will i need nutes since it already has some?
and finally... will harvest come within 50 days?

1. 3-5 gallon pot is enough for the whole plants life span.
2. 4 per plant for veg are fine, but switch to soft white cfls for flowering
3. Dont know about that fertilizer may kill your seedlings if the fertilizer kicks in....so id go against the times fertilizers go with organic miracle grow if anything....and no not 50 days (veg will be minimum 30 days and flower minimum 42 days... so 72 if your lucky but all plants are different

I'm saying that i'm not vegging, i'm just hopping right into flower, that's why i'm starting the light cycle on 12/12... i was under the impression that although the bud wouldn't be as potent or yield as much, it would be quicker? am i wrong?

I am about 4 weeks into my first 12/12 from seed grow and I've been reading a ton about it. So don't take my advice as an expert opinion, but rather an observer who has surmised at least a few useful tips on the method by studying the well documented experience of others, as well as finding a few things myself. Always cross reference and double check everything anyone ever tells you on the internet! That being said:

One thing to remember is that this is usually considered an advanced grow technique because it is absolutely vital to keep plants in the flow of constant unstressed growth. This is because the plant doesn't have the long vegetative phase it would on 18/6 or 24/0 to recover from our fuck ups before the tumultuous process of flowering. Remember also that different strains respond to 12/12 from seed in very different ways based on their genetic origin, so if you're not using a stabilized predictable strain it becomes harder to properly diagnose an issue. The time lost is enough to stunt the plant and cause it to be a little 1 gram minibitch.

Good luck on the method but be sure to study all of the online resources you can. Randyrocket linked you a great reference but i also learned a LOT from this Thread on icmag: http://www.icmag.com/ic/showthread.php?t=51760

remember though, you need to be devoted to get through that thread, its up to something like 85 pages of stuff to sift through and learn from and it takes forever and a half.

Again, Good luck and keep it up!
