Ok ok ok

tom after school im going to the hydro store. to get a few things for my set up. right now all i have are the pots and the seeds and some miracle grow.
i have 8 plants there just regular chronic indoors . what does everyone recommend to buy next. like lights , food for the plants , special soil etc.
help please?

Get a high intensity light. HPS or Metal Halide. My light was fairly cheap, I got it off of Ebay. Insidesun and HGTsupply have really cheap ones as well, it depends on how much you're willing to spend. I use pro mix soil which seems better for the price. You might want to do away with the miracle grow and just use fox farm nutrients. Grow Big and Tiger Bloom nutrients come to mind. A carbon filter and exhaust might not be a bad idea since you have 8 plants and the smell will undoubtedly get bad. It all adds up but pays for itself in the end.

im welling to spend around 3-400 and the smell isnt a problem
so you think just lights and good nutrients?
what kind of bulbs would be the best?

get a 400 watt high pressure sodium light with a basic reflector.
