In the bulk auto fem business, I'm pretty sure most of them have one or two auto studs they pimp out to who knows what. I've heard shit that would really disappoint anyone growing autos. When you think you're growing auto "cookies", "gorilla glue", etc the actual genetics you're growing are often far from it. Seriously, they will have a blue/purple group of plants that they can put together and call it anything. Auto "blueberry", auto "purple punch"...

I figured genetics wouldnt be "pure" at this point. I am hoping its not this way will ALL auto Breeders? Please tell me the Biggest names in Autos are not that way?? Like 420 Fast Buds or Ethos?

420 fast buds absolutely. Ethos maybe. Even many of the biggest names, even big-named "US breeders," that are charging $200 and up for this hype crossed to that hype fems have outsourced to Spain. Names you wouldn't expect too. Sometimes the genetics are legit, sometimes not so much. Sometimes selection is left the contractor so what actual breeding is the "breeder" doing?...

What do you use? The most common thing people use is phosphoric acid (General Hydroponics, Advanced Nutrients, Humboldt's) for pH down, which contains three salts.
Typically I use hydrogenated water. GH ph pro, alchemist ph down. The only time I use phosphoric acid is in cloning reservoir it seems to not drift as much.
If you scroll down to the pH managment section it does. I do agree on baking soda, and If I need to raise pH I use Potassium Carbonate or potassium bicarbonate cause I have it on hand for brewing beer and wine making.

Vinegar is fine in systems like mine using coco/peat/vermuclite, its only really an issue in reservoir systems or DWC systems where it can grow a mother and slime out everything.

As far as pH adjustment being cheap, maybe for you but distilled white vinegar is far cheaper.

VS

AND

is still cheaper than Ph up and down.
Potassium bicarbonate is a decent product, definitely can be used as foliar for disease prevention.

The three salts in phosphoric acid each contain sodium, so I'm not sure where you're going with this.
This is news to me too. Thanks!

So, I can not math, Like at all. Baby is JUST 14 days old TODAY....im a dumbass lolView attachment 5356646
Piece of advice - stop counting days - it means nothing to plant . Plants can’t read calendars.

Just keep her green and healthy. Especially autos - they are unpredictable ( regardless …… I repeat regardless of breeder )
The “ breeder estimates “ in both yield and harvest time should always be taken with a huge shaker of salt ….. the strains description alone should be taken as maybe not what is listed. Someone already mentioned breeder tactics to get seeds to market - breeders gain nothing by not having seed stock to sling and sometimes you get damn near ‘ tester ‘ quality seeds ( first gen ) to their moola flowing.

Just keep it going as long as necessary to full maturity not by some arbitrary time line on label.

Usually autos will average under a 100 days ( give or take ) so you have plenty of time even past “8 weeks “ to get an even better plant and yield.
