ok on a whim i germinated some bagseed in july and planted them in small pots.I live in ga and its hot as hell in july well they grew to about 6 inches in a week or so so i put them in 5 gallon buckets. i kinda just grew organically letting it get natural rain and watering during long dry spells no nutrients or anything(i know I know) but like i said on a whim.now its october the 2nd 4months later. they both lived and were both female. they have good buds at the top and probably 10 small ones each on the side.however the tallest one is 15 inches tall and the other is 12. our winters here are mild 70s-mid 80s day and mid 50s to high 60s night till about january really should i let them keep going or what i dont know.ill put up pics if needed.BTW they have been flowering for about 2 weeks now

you want the hairs to be about 50-75 percent red, any later and it affects the bud negatively. There's a whole guide on this site about when and how to harvest. do some research.

It happens on here sometimes. let it go until the hairs curl back towards the bud. you'll know that the buds are ripe then for sure. good luck bongsmilie

you got a long while if you have only been flowering for 2 weeks. Keep looking at other peoples pictures and compare yours to theirs.

2 weeks...you need maybe another 6 weeks. If you don't want to give them nutrients, then maybe just molasses? The first frost dates in your area are round about the end of October. That gives you roughly another 4 weeks. I'd flower for at least those 4 more weeks. And if you can push it longer, definitely.

I have 2 plants that are in their third week of flowering, and I expect to chop them, (weather willing) round about Thanksgiving. But I'm also in a warmer climate.

Your buds look really plump for 2 weeks flowering. You sure they haven't been flowering longer? They look like buds I've had at 4 weeks flowering!

Do a little research here on trichomes. The crystal on the buds( trichomes ) is the true indicator or the state of done..

Borrow or buy a cheap microscope at Radio Shack, they are around 12 bux. Magnification needs to be minimal 30X. Then let your two girls go until you look in the scope and see the trichomes at the minimum all filled with cloudy stuff. At this point you could pull or go longer and watch for the little trichomes to start turning and amber colour. Cloudy is more of a head high and amber leads to body buzz. Some take cloudy, some take the plant with a small percentage amber and the rest cloudy and others let the plant run until it is mostly amber trichomes.

The hairs are not a true indicator of when the bud is done..

Best of luck!
