i topped my two bagseeds, and i just clipped the new growth so the two side shoots would pop up and ya know.. well its been like 5 days since i cut and the new sets of leaves at the nodes arent going topside... they arent leading..

is it because the fan leaves are higher than them? whats going on? i know my pics suck but try to hep me out here a bit.. its very bushy inside but the new shoots wont take charge and grow crazy...

so should i cut the fan leaves the top ones, or just let the plant do its thing?:wall:

You have to give it time, friend. All these people talking about how fast these plants grow make many of us begin to compare, Oh, his plant's so big and mine's completely sucky.

Just as we are, these plants are very much individuals. Your baby looks great, it's growing as it should, just wait and watch, ok? I promise that as long as you don't kill it, it'll grow the way it should. :)

lol... im kinda sayin toppng in general... how if the fans are above the new shoots if that matters about the hormone distribution to the highest part ofthe plant and doesnt get to the new shoots

doesn't matter, just give it more time. they take almost as long as a seedling to grow into new leader size. Are you veging with 6500 K light ? The shoots would already be growing out before you topped.
