oil came out black and taste like regular (mexican commercial) shwag?!@?!?!?!?!

so i got a lb of trim from this guy and after i got it i knew i was in for some shitty oil.


but when i sprayed this it came out golden then once it piled up the liquid turned black! and not golden black this shit is black...

when i smoke it i feel like i get sick to my stomach im wondering if theres any pesticides or chemicals that could of made it way threw with the butane?!?!

Absolutely...if there are pesticides and chemicals sprayed on the bud, you're concentrating them when you blast...crap in, crap out. Biggest determining factor in quality of oil is the quality of the product you start out with...you can always re-purge under purged oil, but if it's crappy contaminated plant material, it'll be concentrated contaminates in your oil,

sometimes jokers will sell trim that has already been run with butane or dry ice sifted for keif.
gotta keep your head on a swivel when dealing with randos

If the plant matter had residual pesticides, they would be most likely to be extracted and concentrated along with the oil. No clue why it is making you sick, but as it is, I would dump the material.


As far as black, how did you purge the oil after spraying?

I know of jokers and only took trim because i was desperate..

It may be just the sickening smell of shwag weed that makes me feel sick but i definitely dont feel good if i havent eaten anything and smoke it. ive actually gagged from this taste..

to tell you guys how certain i am this is mexican oil,im actually smoking my oil rigs resin instead of this oil..






i purged as usual 120-140 for 4hours..
also put it in a mason jar at 24 in. vac for 4 hrs at 115* and 24 in. vac. for 16 hrs at 78*

when the hash was still liquid it was black ive never seen that before its usually golden..

to correct my state meant it was never golden only the beginning stream was before enough oil piled up...

So fade dawg?
this hash is dangerous?! and should not be smoked or eaten correct?
if i feel sick after smoking?

or could it be another reason?

going with buds now to make oil over dealing with different quality trim. quality is determined by the beholder

sucks that happened i make wax with trim all the time usually get between 35-50 gr a p thats good enough for me

Dark can very old and not taken care of material. Have youseen RSO? It is dark and ugly because they extract everything they can get outof with the solvent they use. Chlorophyll is the main culprit in the color ofRSO. Butane is non-polar, so this should not occur.

If this does not take to my post it, is #17. It isdark because the starting material is dark. You can see when it is spread thin,it is not black. When I did this I was not planning on dabbibg it, I made thisfor edibles.
Also see post #12 in the same thread. So yes, chemicals ifpresent, will be concentrated if their boiling point is less than your purgetemp. At 140F, I doubt any are being purged. You can heat it to 252F for 27minutes to decarb, and some of (if there is any) the contaminants may evaporate.
The material can then be used topically or orally.

sounds like all oil. gold when thin and light can get through it, but when you put it in a big glob on the table, it looks black...

if shit goes in shit comes out use better starting material. dont buy trim from broke ass ppl if u r unsuccessful at life i assume u r unsuccessful at growing and u prbly keifed that shit first. i only get trims from friends

wait till liquid is gone and it reaches room temp before u start scraping it, then put in vac chamber and purge, when u start purge add heat slowly raise heat to 130 140 and wait...

We met a guy that sprayed his schwag with fucking raid. Terrible terrible terrible. Makes you almost trip (not surprisingly) and no... I smoked no more of it after finding out

It would make sense to me that enough chlorophyll would appear black (even looking at it up to a light) even though it is really dark green. Taste like a mouth full of ass.
