lol I'm talking about taking it off that table...heat rises and cold drops.. place the box on the floor and drop your light
Ah I see what you're saying, I have the light as low as I can right now.
I'm using an old chain from a punching bag to hold it and it's not adjustable sadly.

Figured I can make the adjustments by lowering the plant and removing the boxes once it starts growing.

Yah I plan on getting some of those adjustable straps at some point just spend most of the money for this project on the light and nutrients.
Seeing as it's only 1 plant is the height going to make or break the grow?

Awesome, don't let me putting that idea down discourage giving me more tips, you seem to be well informed and I'm a noob here!
I really appreciate any help I get and the only reason I'm not taking action to fix this right away is it's just not possible money wise right now.

Haha yeah I bet, but the end result is so worth it! I can't wait to be smoking on my own homegrown batch, shit I'm so excited just thinking about it.

Might need to buy one of those outlets you plug into a light socket because ATM the only way I can get the light plugged in is on an extension cord thats on the ground. I have a light socket that I dont use that's directly above the light so that seems like the best way to clean up the cord problem.

Hey I have a couple questions about autos, you mind answering what you can?
Most of them are questions that have 2 different answers when I try to find info myself so I figured someone with experience will know whats up.

1. Should I top an autoflower? I read it may not have enough time to recover so you're better off just LSTing.

2. I'm starting off at 18/6 light cycle, since this is an autoflower how do I know when to swap to 12-12? I know you usually can pick and choose with a photo.

3. How much water should I be giving it during the very start? Since it's an auto I just popped it right into the solo cup and let it start doing its thing, I just don't want to rot the seed with too much early water.

4. I got 5 seeds, should I have started more than one at a time, do seeds sometimes just never sprout or become duds?

woo that's a lot of questions ....

1..I would FIM at least once.
2.. i would put her 24 hr...and autos AUTO.
3.. water when cup weight feels light...you'll get the feel of this over time. they say once the top is dry but go by weight...a wet pot is heavy a dry pot is light...you'll get it. I still tilt my 15 gallon to see when to water.
4.. no..you don't have enough light for that you're gonna struggle as it is

Haha sorry about the questions!
I appreciate your help and i know that the auto "autoflowers" but there isnt a benefit to swapping to 12 and 12 during flowering?
Or were you saying 24 hours during the veg.

Thought so, sorry for asking such dumb questions, I swear I did research before I started this but there are just so many different answers and it's hard to tell what's legit or not. Figure the best way is to ask the pros!

Changed the pot because I'd rather do it now when the seed is still barely showing its taproot than later when I can stress her out.
It's an auto and from what I'm being told I WILL be fine staying in this 1 pot.
