alright so probably about 3 weeks ago i got a new connection to some bomb ass dank buds and this is the first kind i picked up. picture quality isnt that good but still it was some bomb :joint:



Name: Purple Haze
Grade: B
Type: Sativa with mild indica buzz
Price: 20/gram 60/eight
Looks: mostly purple with tops dark green, yellow orange hairs (picture sucks i know)
Smell: skunky fruity pine
Taste: a lil fuity
Buzz Length: med-long
Buzz Type: indica start than sativa from than on :]
Overall: great smoke i wish i could of gotten more :bigjoint:

its not extinct, here in Canada I had some last year, had a very nice candy purple smell to it, and a great up high

all i know is if its not extinct purple haze is supposed to be the bomb and that doesnt look good at all, very badly trimmed.

pffft lmao purple haze isnt real bud. u had a puprple strain but not purple haze. i suppose if u crossed a haze plant with a purple strain u could make it urself but there is no defined strain called purple haze. peace.

purple haze is a pheno of the original haze created in monterey california by the "haze brothers", thing is they didn't sell there genetics but did make a trip to neville at the greehouse company. But greenhouse don't sell those seeds because they are too hard to grow any place other than the mountains just inland of the california coast. So unless you somehow hit up the brothers or talked to neville there is no way of having the "true" haze. I say true because all haze is is a super mix of a bunch of sativas (including thai, mexican, and columbian buds) and to recreate something that would be close would not be hard. most of this i got from the article in the big book of buds. damn i wish i had a chance to smoke some of that crazy 70's bud

Purple Haze as Jimi sung it was actually acid that was sold on purple paper.... but the purple haze weed I would have to try just sounds good but I must admit and agree with cyproz that the PH you got was badly trimmed but atleast you can say you had some haha, more than I can say

Cannabis Corpse, you're about right on. "Purple" Haze is just that, Haze that has a purple phenotype.

sry if this has nothing to do with haze but with the addition of small amounts purple dye to the water; the color soaks up the bottom layers of the plant and turns the buds purple. cold can cause purple aswell but only genetic breeding towards purple phenos is true color maintained but only for some of the plants lk 50% tops ive seen. unfortunately dark plants absorb 2 much heat from my hps so ive strayed away from them. o n dont use the dye with your personal stash Pe@cE

well i do agree with cannabis corpse but jimi's purple haze was after the monterey purple acid that was sold at monterey pop which he took 2 hits before he even went on stage deff legend. but really no matter what that supposive puple was it was still bomb. and hopefully more "purple haze" comes in. one love.

purple haze is a classic strain that is still around. (google it) (or check out some seed banks for it) i just picked some up 2 days ago for 25 a gram. worth every cent. its a very potent strain.very sticky stuff. comes on light but after 5 or 10 mins it hits you like a tank,lol.......lasts a couple hours to. all in all an excellent fruity purple delicious mix of sativa/indica leaning a little more toward the sativa dom side. i can post a pic if anyones interested.....

u dumbass' are both right of course purple haze exists because if a breeder makes a strain and calls it purple haze tecnaclly its still purple haze. BUT the "purple haze" u smoked back in the day ain't know more, as the growers/breeders did not sell or give away the genetics (but once to arjan but u still cant get em) so u can't get them :) it'll stay a legend just like hendrix who wrote a song about acid and inadvertently made a strain famous. coulda shoulda woulda,

If I take bagseed (from some random schwag) that grows purple can I call it Purple Haze? Sure. Is it purple haze? No.
