OG/ Bubba should you SOG or grow Big plants?

What do you think is more practical for yield under one lower wattage (400-600) light SOG or big plant(s) for OG and Bubba strains? I am talking the smaller yielding OGs and Bubbas not cuts like Tahoe or a stacked up pheno. Thank you

I always go big and I use 600s. That's not exactly small wattage when it comes to personal grows.

og's ime, are pretty known for being pretty crappy yielders.. bubba is even worse than og when it comes to yield the one time i grew pre98 bubba..

I grow a bubba X deep chunk cross from Cannacopia and I have decent yields, not huge but decent and I have found that the more colas you have on your plant, the better the yield will be. I have tried a SOG with bubba but it seemed like they were getting too many side shoots getting tangled up together and it was basically a cluster fuck. I have had great luck growing them out big and topping the shit out of them. I have one growing now that has 8 colas and is 3.5' tall and just as wide. Only 17 days of flower and I have lots of little buds with white hairs and young trichomes starting to show. I love growing bubba and I love making ISO hash from the trim, it is some of the best I have ever had. And on this cross from Cannacopia the leaves always turn a dark purple about a week before peak harvest, even in higher temps. It is like a little calling card telling you the time for harvest is near. I am also growing a Bella Donna from Paradise right now and I cant wait to see what happens with that.
