Of all the things I've lost
I miss my mind the most

Maybe in the mountains
or over on the coast
hiding in the tidepools
like a starfish ghost

I'd really like to find my mind
'cuz I really want it back
was it all the lsd
or smoking pounds of crack

that rendered my thought process
completely out of wack

not sure what really happened
the day it all went black

Although its kinda nice
cuz ignorance is bliss

but of all the things I've lost
my mind is what I miss

Maybe it drained out that day
in that whiskey piss
running down the gutter
as things became amiss

Thought I'd try the lost and found
to see what I could find
but nothing there came even close
to what I'd call my mind

you know I still might have it
but I think it's turned to toast
