Odor Control - Pinesol

So I heard about a ghetto odor control and I am considering it. He said for odor control he used a bucket filled with pinesol and an air stone in it. The airstone diffuses oxygen into the pinesol. This releases a nice pinesol smell that mask smell.

I was curious if any of you have heard anything about this and would give me some input on it.
