kim jong ill has been doing this stuff for years. he did the same when bush was in office. hes like a toddler who wants attention. i highly doubt hes suicidal and there is a difference between firing towards and hitting or even coming close its a big ocean. he does this with japan often though they have a little more reason to be concerned.

he is crazy and none of us are in his head i just doubt seriously him directly attacking the us with his mostly defective missiles last time it blew up on take off but you never know.

He senses weakness, and rightfully so.

so hes gonna shoot a defective bottle rocket at us its possible. i think its more for show he is a known egomaniac he thinks hes a movie director and such lol. egomaniacs dont like to die most the time. well see how this plays out in the past it always cools down no way to be certain of anything with crazy people though.

Ok i see some do not pay much attention here. Natrone I will need you to show me where Kim launched a new longer range missle that was just completed last month at US territory during the Bush Years. See that would have been impossible as ummm it was just finished. Shooting a short range missle while not having a complete nuclear war head into the ocean is slightly different then test firing a longer range missle intentionally towards US soil while having full nuclear war heads on hand after declaring the US and UN war enemies and saying you will fire on any US or UN trying to enforce the emabrgos and stopping ships or any ship in the disputed waters around Korea. thats a big difference so if you want to compare then at least bring something close to the table. This is completely different then his underground and short range tests from the Bush years. Yeah he wont hit the state of Hawai but he will get a good test of exactly how far it will go and he also will get the attention he wanted from this . Its like those parents who let thier kids do what they want and then give them a talking to or a time out. those kids still do it and get worse as they get older. kim fears Obama not and doesnt think he will react and he is right so he is expanding his reigns to see how far he can go. If he is not disciplined soon he will get out of hand and then we will have a big issue.

they did fire a more or less identical missile 3 years ago but it blew up on take off. we have thought they had nukes for at least 5 years i guess the test confirms what we knew. not much has changed except he has a new president to taunt and test. the bush admin seemed to mostly ignore him as did the media as we were focused on the iraq quagmire. ding ding round 2.

It does not matter to them (cracker, etc). These are the same guys that will say anything to put Obama down. Its ok because they are wrong and not worth the time and engery to argue with.

Its like Rush.. So much hate built up inside, they do not care in America falls to prove their point. Its not about policy its about hate now..

Really you guys do not have any political thinking at all. What does North Korea have to gain from this? really? They get the attention a blacked out nation wants to be heard. It draws immediate attentionb from larger countries who have what they want. A nuclear power is listened to when it rattles its saber.this country a socialistic one under communist rule is struggling and does not want to bow down and beg for assistance but wants to be allowed to openly trade for what it needs but it can not as it is blocked by the UN and the world. If China stopped its minimal aide they would starve and collapse. You get the worlds attention by building a huclear war head that will fire and then launch rockets at the last super powers waters you have the stage to say what you want and have a few chips in your pocket to begin negotioations.You guys would be the worste small company negotiaters ever lol. You think if North korea had no nukes no rockets, remained small quiet and unnoticed the world would even care about North Korea? Nope not one bit. North Korea saw its oppurtunity toi make this move as they know Obama is not a military president and is so busy spending money it was the right time to make noise. Noise he has made. World can you hear North Korea now...yeah we hear and se you.. thats what he got from this.. I swear its like teaching kids how to tie thier shoes in here some times.

How did kim think wrong Natron e? Obama didnt do anything . We have one of our largest navel base in Hawaii so they were in place and there has been no world messgae to warn Kim about any action that will occur if he launches. Kind just sat there while it all is happeneing so yeah Kim thought right Obama hasnt done jack shit in regards to this.. the missle they found 3 years ago was a mid range prototype that failed. tgis ia a longer range missle based on a new technology and its prototypes have launched already. The nuclear program we thought was begining 5 years ago but it was just confirmed this year to be real and fully operational with plants refining yellow cake plutonium.So yeah its completely changed since then

tips based on your comment then we should wait and see if his nuclear missles can hit the US then we can respond after a few million die? Or would you come to the rational sane persons point that you do not wait to be hit by a nuclear war head to see if he can do it but do waht you can to prevent it from happening..please dont be like Obama and just sit back and wait to be hit by it then think about what to do please dont say thats the way you would do it
