Obama found another war to fight

Equity means stock, bond, or a cash equivalent. Do you have a 401K? Do own a single stock directly? Or do you own part of a fund? Most people that have 401Ks or Pensions do not own individual stocks or bonds they own shares of funds, those funds are invested in particular tranches of equities usually.

As to your query about who has Hundreds of thousands of dollars laying around to pay cash for his house. By his own admission, Unclebuck does, well his wife does. Either that or he was lying about it all, but Beaver boy would never lie.
funny how my parents only own 401Ks, or shares of funds, but their money available for retirement was nearly cut in half with george w bush's recession.

it's a good thing that obama's economic recovery has put them back to ahead of where they started from.

ditto their house, which appreciated so much during obama's recovery that they were able to sell it, downsize, and leave their mortgage behind completely.

they're pretty set for retirement now, thanks in part to obama's awesome economic recovery.

I'm sorry but if their health care cost are fully covered by going, I simple see it as...

Send Mikey over to the neighbors so he can get chicken pox and we can deal with it now rather than later.

If it's acute infectious disease then they will simply be the transporters.

my 401K is in my fireproof safe, it has done pretty well under obama.

just closed on the new home a week or so ago, so hasn't had much time to appreciate yet.

So why would ANY of us give a shit about your racist father and his mail order bride?

Interesting take on Bush's recession.
Check when dot.coms crashed. Dot.coms were one of the main reasons the economy was soaring and then BOOM out goes the bottom.

OMG they were struggling with a mortgage of $300K or less?

Blame Bush for their failings. Attaboy, they taught you well.

I thought it was odd that bucks parents still had a mortgage to begin with and apparently it was still big enough that they had to sell the home.

Downsizing is a smart thing to do. Who needs 2,000 sq ft when its just 2 people?

Bush also believed in the boom and bust Keynesian way. He might have been against the madness of Fannie and Freddie, but was loving the housing bubble all the same.

Remember the stimulus checks? Don't use them to pay down bills or save, we need you to spend those checks to stimulate the economy.

Home costs are always relevant to the area. The average home has been consistent throughout time with average salaries in that area. That started changing in the late 90's. We are doing it again. Costs are still out of whack with salaries because the banks are holding onto so many foreclosures. If they let them into the market, the bubble crashes again. Bailouts afford them the luxury to do this.

We have a NASDAQ bubble right now, the fed has reached a liquidity trap where tapering will only be tolerated over years. Our market economy is so bastardized right now our only saving grace is that the other major economies are also doing it.

Meanwhile, the wealth disparity keeps increasing, Bush keeps getting blamed.

I also know I'm not telling althor something he doesn't already know, I just used your post for my soapbox.

Wasn't Bush the one who signed the 1999 Gramm Leach Bliley act that did away with the banking rules that caused the 2007-2008 crash?

Lets see, Bush was President in 1999 right?

Yes, he was the president that repealed Glass-Steagall in the 90's that separated commercial banks from investment banks. Who knew credit default swaps would end that way?

We really can blame Bush for bailing them out at 100cents on the dollar though.

So you admit repealing Glass-Steagall was a mistake, you just give Clinton a pass.

What if you found it it was actually pushed by his advisers?

By blaming republicans and saying it would have been passed anyway without him in office?

That's a pass, when it was his advisers pushing this agenda. In fact, I can't remember the dudes name, he was his version of Emanuel, so you should know it, made over 100 million dollars because that act was repealed.

It's a mutual fuck party, but you are ignoring one cock in your ass while you suck the other.
