"It would not make sense for us to see a top priority as going after recreational USERS in states that have determined that it's legal," he said, invoking the same approach taken toward USERS of medicinal marijuana in 18 states where it's legal

"I never made a commitment that somehow we were going to give carte blanche to large-scale producers and operators of marijuana – and the reason is, because it's against federal law,"
Obama told "Rolling Stone"
in an interview earlier this year.

Taking a few words to make them reflect your wants...

That's called selective reading....

NBC missed out the beginning of the interview... "I wouldn't go that far...."

Forgot to mention NBC is Pro Obama... No shit they are going to put out misleading info!

Obama is not for legalization. Show me the text.. Please. He was a lawyer. He doesn't answer Yes or No questions.

HAHA.. I will bet a nickel. Obama will not go after "recreational users" but the folks providing will be prosecuted...
Really folks already forgot about what happened in Cali..

Thanks for telling us what you did in the former quote with the ladder.

Who ever said Obama was for legalization? Why don't you make up more bullshit to argue against.

Not necessarily taking a side on this yet, but, what about the six plants each individual is allowed to grow? How can the recreational users remain unprosecuted while the provider is prosecuted if it is the same person? "Grow your own and it's not a problem" seems like a pretty good solution to me.
