Obama admits to mistake

In an interview regarding his selection of Tom Daschle, Obama says he personally takes responsibility for having selected Daschle, admits it was a mistake in light of what is now known about Daschle's tax issues, and says he will not let it happen again. This is a relatively minor political issue with no real impact on our country. As a contrast, George Bush royally fucked up everything his little monkey paws could get hold of, left our country in shambles, and has the balls to claim that in the near future history will show he was a good president. Talk about the audacity of hope! Well, it is nice to see a leader take responsibility for their actions for the first time in 8 years.

The reason why bush thinks he will be remembered kindly is because he knows that historians don't pay attention to the spin doctors.... they will disseminate the good and the bad , and in the case of george Bush, will more than likely put him near the top of the list. of course you won't see that list for at least a decade or so....that's why it's done by historians

of course he may look TERRIFIC in as little as 2-4 years.... the way things are going for Obama....

Man oh man! Do you people get tired of telling yourself lies? I live in Virginia and your response reminds me of the local contingent of rednecks who continue to assert that the south was correct in wanting the civil war but the North "re-wrote" the history books after winning...hahahahhaha what bullshit. I have no sympathy for Bush supporters, his brand of "leadership" has near completely broken and destroyed this country.

Just a quick question, Bradly ... When was the last time you read an UN-revised history book on the War Against Secession?

I have been using the internets to try and find an occassion where Bush said, "I take responsibility", "it's my fault", or "I was wrong". It appears there is no documentation of him having ever said any of those things.

My response reminds you of something....that's nice but not exactly a correlation (go ahead and look it up).

Your post reminds me of washer machines. Whatever that means....

There is no discernable "correlation" between the truth and your assertion that Bush was even a mediocre president. I used a chi-squared non-parametric linear regression analysis (Look it up  ) to statistically support this statement.
An internet search of the phrase "worst president ever" yields the links shown below. As I said, you are a willing participant in your own deception.

This was just the first 10 results. Bush took up space in the oval office for 8 years but that bitch was never my president.

Hey Bradley ...

When you quote The Nation magazine, or their website, are you aware that you are quoting the most left-leaning publication in the country? Even more left leaning than the New York Times? I mean, what do you suppose their going to say about Bush? Ditto for Rolling Stone.

I'm thinkin' ... there's a lot of brain washing going on in Virginia.

Cracker, you the man!

Bush will be remembered as a great president because all this crap isn't his fault. Its just that it all happened during his term. Who new Katrina??? What about Isabel 201? Democrats suck just because they're liberal. Liberal isn't bad but when you have conservatives claiming to be liberal???:?: So far Obama isn't that perfect. Look at his stimulus package. You wanna talk about useless spending? I voted for the guy because he sounds good when he talks and so did everybody else do that did it. He never has proved anything. U.S. citizens better get ready because Obama will either fix it or &*(%. If you look at the financial system, as far as T-Bonds, it doesn't look very good. Could you imagine if the rates fell:!: China would short the market and thats the biggest holder of the U.S. Bond:!:
Talk about a recession, try great great great depression:!: Ain't shit Obama or Bush or any president besides Lincoln since the financial system has been in place, could do anything about that:!:

Obama simply is what he said he is, HOPE! Without that, what would the world be:?:

Hope I didn't type this for nothing? Lol!

That's not a economic stimulus package, that's an entitlement stimulus, pure and simple.

This is looking more and more like the Carter years. Except everything will end up far worse. Don't forget that Ronald Reagan followed Carter. We have 4 years to find one like him....fat chance. It's a different world now, and the US does not have divine protection. The numbers will crunch us just like it does to everyone else.

What about your precious Palin, the moose hunting messiah of the (far) right. I just read an article that she was last seen hauling a bunch of science textbooks up to the rim of that volcano that was about to explode.

While I believe that Palin could easily out govern Obama (which is becoming very very apparent in only 2 weeks), I'm not sure she has the savvy to fix four years of what we are about to endure.

I suppose you think she said she can see Russia from her house too huh....
