Shit man out of it weather ay I wish itd get a move on lol Still plenty of time though atleast we dont have to visit them as much for watering. Oh man your plants are gonna be massive untopped when do you reckon theyl flower?

Damn none of the panamas have red leaflet stems but one of them has purple/red main stems, they're both showing sex though and have alternating nodes. Or wait I think one is showing sex but not the other I cant remember. The smaller one has a few rusty lower leaves any idea what it would be? Yeah the bug damage aint to bad its barely anything and only on the LSD. You got any vine hoppers this year? The Taskenti is great bro beautiful green growth and no bug damage and smells hashy. Seems to be loving it down here. Reckon youl get 10ft? My panama might hit 10 but the rest are topped so they probably wont lol

Shit yeah if it became legal thatd be the best job breeding n shit. Taskenti x Deep chunk would be killer someone needs to do that! You know what CC pheno I have?
Supprised you sitill have some Malawi lol How the high?

Hey man how's it going? just got back from my chrismas/hunting holiday. Your plants look really good, that cotton candy looks like the other pheno I grew out but we'll see in flower I guess lol. That topped panama looks like the red pheno to me. Have you been back to them lately?
weather has been pretty good especially the last couple days, hottest day we've had today.
Not too sure when my seed plants will flower but I'm guessing another 3-4 weeks veg. You'll know what pheno the Panamas are as soon as they show preflowers(early feb) because they're either pink/red or white pistils. Not too sure with the rusty leaves but stuff happens and as long as it's not on the new growth it'll be sweet as. Probably the cooler nights down there stop the bugs from having a good breeding environment, up here we're only dropping down to 16-20 at night so the vine hoppers especially go crazy in this climate. I've got a few vine hoppers this year but have bought a 5 kg bag of neem granules and put a shit load around the area of the plants and done a few spray applications so it should stop them from a full on attack.

Yeah the Taskenti is awesome aye! I knew it'd thrive in your climate. Should turn into a beast  it stretches 2x indoors so it should stretch outside too, it's got those ancient giant indica genes. Shit if the weather stays like this my plants could easliy grow over 10-12ft, they were 5 1/2 ft 2 weeks ago so who knows how tall they are now lol, that taskenti could hit 10ft easily if you get good as weather for the next 4 weeks.

Someone at ICmag did a Deep Chunk x Taskenti and it looked absolutely killer! fat buds from the Taskenti and deep purple colour to it.
Not too sure on your CC pheno but it look more indica to me, the leaf structure doesn't have the sharp serrated skinny sativa look. Could be more of a Lavender pheno. Yeah the Malawi's good, the highs inbetween heady and stoney but no body just more in the eyes if you know what I mean haha.

was there a huge wind gust around new years? huge 3ft bush got tiltied, either the wind or someone tried to pull it out

does anyone have preflowers yet?
Would have to guess wind or an animal..no way someone wouldn't be able to pull it.

Hey mate good trip? Cheers yeah my plants are starting to get pretty big now pretty impressed with the Tashkenti it took topping like a boss and it smells really hashy if you rub the stems.
Also loving the Panma Dc which also has a nice berry smell and you can already see resin in the new tops. I went up yesterday so Il have an update soonish, theyre looking god but a little under watered. Weathers been amazing for the last 3 weeks most days have been 25 plus quite a few 27 - 28's and 29 today which is good but man we need some rain soon its dry as shit. Hasnt rained in about 3 weeks going on 4 so ive had to water them which is a mission.

Your plants look awesome i bet they're big now  You been feeding with guano? The panamas are insane the branching and nodeing is really out of it how long after the hybrids do the panamas flower? Damn vine hoppers atleast your more prepared this time yea we drop down to 11 - 14 at night I haven't seen anymore bug damage just the rabbits digging around the holes.

Shit yeah the Taskenti is my favorite of them all so far and its growing in the more average soil and its the best looking one shes gonna be a monster :) When do indicas hybrids start flowering usually? Your plants will be tall as if they aint topped I reckon youl be at 7ft by now? If I hadn't of topped the Taskenti it would probably hit 10ft for sure lol I think I saw that DC x Taskenti, really nice cross by the looks of it. Yeah your right I think its more of a Lavender pheno it has massive fans but its quite slow actually it drinks way more water then the rest of the plants and seems to be a light feeder. Malawi would be a nice smoke ha  Pictures soon Peace.

Update here are the girls getting pretty big now, towards 6ft topped. No more bug damage just a couple of rabbits that have dug in the side of my holes and exposed a few roots but its no problem.
The weather is great its getting dry as f though sitting on 30 degrees today. Plants looked a little bit under watered but other then that they're all rehydrated and looking good. Expecting some flowering to start within the next few weeks for in indica/hybrids.

Panama DC topped - Smells really dank and shes pretty beasty :)

IMG_4629.JPG

LSD topped - Loving the short bushy indica shape with plenty of nice bud sites pretty sure this is a Mazar pheno.

IMG_4622.JPG

From above.
IMG_4623.JPG

Cotton Candy topped - A week behind the rest and a bit slower but she has huge fan leaves, drinks lots but feeds light.

IMG_4616.JPG

Taskenti topped - Real impressed with the Taskenti so far shes turning into a beast  Smells nice and hashy.

IMG_4586.JPG

Got a resident praymantis on my taskenti to kill of any intruders ;-)

IMG_4633.PNG

Panama 1 topped - Im not sure why this one is slower then the rest, maybe runty? But I like the shape and still a long veg time left.

IMG_4583.JPG

Panama 2 untopped - Insane nodding when you compare it to a hybrid or indica! A bit wilted but it bounced back great.

So thats about it, all is well bring on flowering!

Very interesting that Tashkenti all I found was at herbies:

Cannabiogen Taskenti Feminised Seeds

A 100% Indica originated in Uzbekistan. Its name comes from one of the best hash in the world,
according to experts; a very powerful and resinous strain, of enormous yield, mainly outdoors.
It has a refined and subtle hashish perfume, a shade between mint and lemon, very intense.
Original latitude and height cultivation conditions have made its acclimatization very simple,
similar to Southern Spain Mountains. Nevertheless a meticulous selection and improvement work
has been done to fix genetic dominance for the most important aspects, allowing simultaneously
diversifying the zones of growing indoors (also hydroponics) and outdoors.
Indoors plants mature in 7-9 weeks, needing a good ventilation and dry atmosphere, mainly in flowering.
Vegetative period: Minimum 30 days for high performanceA 100% Indica originated in Uzbekistan.

hey dude, shit can't wait to see yours flower.
What's your lat? my Malawis didn't start to flower till the start of March, Panama started early feb @ 37S.
Old timers haze will be a classic!, wont be finished for bloody ages though - hope you get good winter temps although I hear it can resist cold as good as an indica.

Here's a thread from the breeder himself Kaiki/Charlie - Taskenti

Grew it a couple times indoors myself, didn't give it full justice by not fully finishing it off for a couple reasons.
Really exotic indica unlike any dutch hybrid, exactly how it is described - perfume hashy lemon odour with dense frosty medium sized buds; long cola buds like an outdoor sativa plant lol some buds were a ft long. It stretches 2x at least and is slightly longer flower for a landrace indica, I'd say 11 weeks for a real decent maturity for the pheno I grew (9/10 broad leaf, 1/10 thin leaf). It's stabilised to f9 so has had a lot more intensive breeding work than most would care to do. Pest/Disease and rot resistance is incredible, vine hoppers wouldn't even touch the little clone I chucked out last year.

Probably one of the nicest smokes I've had, real smooth minty hash lemon taste that's not even harsh from a quick dry sample. The high is more complex and trippy, almost like the beginnings of an acid trip when it first starts to come on.

Originates from Tashkent - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tashkent.

im at 34.4 south , do you think mine will flower earlier or faster than yours?

If mine started in march that will be perfect because it will be rain most days from feb to early april ,
Some more veg time would be pretty handy too, how are yours going?

Any ideas as to why flowering seems to have slowed down or stopped. When you start flowering, lots of hairs show up at the tips right? Im new to this so im a confused. My plant is healthy, it has no defects, it has nutes, gets watered ect. For the last week and a half she has been stretching and showing nice flowers at the top of her branches. But for the last two days, i havent been seeing the growth anymore. I did change from 6500k to 2700k could it be the stress of the light change temporarily? I noticed more growth on my flowers with the veg bulbs lol. Apparently 2700k was better for flower but it doesnt seem like it

I have two main tops on her both the same size. All up i have 6 or 8 branches i cant remember. She had an accident in veg a while back wich led me to have to remove all the fan leaves apart from two. But i havent seen this as an issue. Please help. Or will i see more growth in the weeks to come. Iv never grown a flowering weed plant, so maybe im just clueless and its fine?

Also shud lights be above or side of plant during flower?

And shud temps be signifigantly higher during flower as apposed to veg?

Thanks

It feels a bit like hash. I've only been using it for a day or so. It takes a while to vape a bowl than to smoke it, even with the fan assist but it goes alot further. It's like 3-4 bowls in 1 and if you have a bong hit during the sesh you get the full spectrum high, not that the vape high is missing much.

I noticed i can't get that paralleling feeling like i do from a massive bong hit that slowly turns into a good high, with the vape you have to build the high up. I get that hit in the throat like i do from hash easily from the vapour. Tastes like hash or oil a little bit, but the taste isn't much to write home about if the temp is too high.
That is the most accurate vape description ever. Oversized sig.

Oh yeah you're only 333 kms closer to the equator than me so the flower time will only be a few days difference. Mine are looking all good, tallest ones are 7 ft- will have an update after work.
Don't you worry about Panamas ability to hold rain, as long as they're not in a dark damp spot they'll hold out fine. They also thin out a lot come flower, especially the red pheno.
