I heard that soma nyc diesel actually didn't have any diesel genetics in it. That is why I figure it is so cheap.

and yeah, soma doesn't really list what the genetics are of his nyc diesel, just says he got it from a dread haired friend or some crap, so who really knows what is in it to be exact..
dr greenthumbs is supposed to have a super bomb version of diesel that i have heard from a few people is amazing. it's not nyc d, but who cares about nyc??

I forgot about Sannie. Dynasty has a NYCD f3 for $30 for 10 seeds. Soma sells 1 for $30 or 10 for $260 (attitude price)

The origins of nyc diesel.In 1997 a friend of mine brought me some seeds as a gift.He said they came from the best weed he ever smoked.He had gotten the weed in nyc and it was called sour diesel.Istarted the seeds and they where all female.I selected mother plants and as I flowered out their clones I found some i adored and some I thought were flat.I kept the good ones and crossed it to my afghani/hawaiin male.I took the cross breed seeds and sprouted them to select mothers. Once I had found the right female and the male that had the best genetic traits,I backcrossed them,Got them stabilised and the nyc diesel strain was born.Since 1999 it has one multiple prizes in every cannibis contest it has been in.~ from Soma's book
