so i'm buying a 400 watt HPS light system from the local grow shop and i'm buying a econo-wing reflector for it, i know i'm going to some heat in the closet, to control the heat what should i do? should i have a fan just constantly blowing toward the light or what?

and for the nutrients, i'm buying Fox Farm Big Grow and Tiger Bloom, i need to know if i can use them for a soil grow or not?? if so how much should i mix with water??

also i will have the Fox Farm Ocean Forest Soil, and it says u dont need to use nutrients for about 2-3 weeks??!! should i listen to that or should i gradually give it some nutrients during the seedling stage?!

How big is your closet? I have a 400 HPS in a 2.5 feet X 3 feet X 6 feet and I get 7 good sized plants under my 400.

Hard to say your best way to cool without knowing your setup. I use a 424 watt Vortex with a DIY filter with a fan blowing on my reflector. Only times I ever had heat issues was in the heat of the summer but it was still tolerable.

Give us some more info and we can give ya some ideas. :leaf:
