Nutrient recommendations

Hey guys,

I'm just undertaking my first grow and will be running Advanced Nutrient's Sensi Grow/Bloom as my base nutes and was wondering if anyone can recommend anything to run along side?

I think I might be best sticking to the AN range as they do the whole ph perfect stuff but any suggestions would be much appreciated!

I use AN PH Perfect Conneseur nutes (Grow A&B, Bloom A&B), plus their Hobbyist Package additives.

I've had good results with this lineup, but I can't say for sure if the additives work. I plan to do a side by side comparison grow soon to find out for myself.

Be advised that discussions of AN can degrade to flame wars rather quickly. People can be very rude on this subject. If that happens to your thread here, just PM me and I'll answer any other questions you might have.

Also be advised that many AN users (including me) report nute burn if they use the AN nutes at the full strength recommended by AN. I'm growing Satori right now, and half strength nutes (some times I use 3 quarters strength) are plenty strong for her. Monitor for nute burn daily.

Just don't get caught up in the hype and pay too much. Cannabis is just a plant no need to pay extra for specialized fertilizers. Dyna Gro, is one I've heard a lot of good stuff about. General organics works well I've used it. Useing general hydroponics duo line now and it works as advertised also.

Thanks a lot man, and cheers for the heads up about nute burn when running them at full strength! I think I'll start them at quarter strength and build it up to see how they react. I understand AN might be slightly overpriced but I don't see why others get so butt-hurt over peoples choice of nutes- maybe thats just me being a newb

I'll have a look into the hobbyist package, my local hydro store sells 100ml and 250ml bottles (decanted) of the full AN range so I suppose I can give them all a sample!

I recommend Kimitec, Botanicare, General Hydro Flora Series, and Dutch Master Gold.

Advanced Nutrients forever lol...This is what I use in veg: Voodoo Juice, Tarantula, Piranha, B-52....For flowering I use: Rhino Skin, Big Bud, Overdrive, Bud Candy, Sensizym. Btw I feed full strength all the way through, but at the same time I have more run off than most 25%

Veg + Bloom... Boom! Go to sleep.

Flora nova is simple to use and works great plus you're only dealing with 1 bottle at a time. It's hell to clean up though but worth it

Really any reputable nute line will work. The most important part is that you take time to dial in your grow. Learning to read your plants and how they respond to the nutes you give them is more important than what brand of nutes you give them.

Search enough threads and you will find people crushing it with every nute line, and people failing with every nute line. Learn to read your plants, don't rush, dial in everything (environment, nutes, lights) and you'll do fine.

Edit: I use GH 3 part with good results.

Cutting Edge Solutions, do yourself a favor and look em up.
