Nutrient Question

I am using Gen Hydro 3-2-1 nutes. I typically take a half gallon of water and add nutes in proportion - sometime making a stronger mix and sometimes making a weaker mix - depends on how much a I need.

If I mix it too strong and don't use it quickly it will precipitate solids out into the jug.

I then add the nutes to my reservoir to get the PPM to whatever level I want.

This technique is diiferrent from others I have read and I wonder if this is causing problems.

Anyone have any thoughts?

I shut my pumps off and add my nutes directly to the res. I use my ppm pen to bring it up to desired level. Usually round 800 ppm. It could be wrong, I didnt go to How to Gro Hydro scchool. dont care. Worked for me for last 4 years

need a little more info bro what size rez u got and ur doing hydro and ur using gh 3 part nutez grow, micro, bloom there also, florablend, diamond nector, koolbloom, and a couple more i go to the gh website and they have a nute calicultor where u plug ur numbers in and it gives u the exact amount to use it has worked for me for like 5years, tells u ur ppm and all that, now on my soil grows i mix up gallon jugs for later in the flower when they need extra, then i read the back of the label for how much per gallon, if its too high ppm just add half of it to another gallon and make 2 gallons

Depending on how big your res is you'll probably find that half a gallon is not enough water to mix the nutes in, thats why you are getting precipitation. Once that happens you should throw it away and start again.
