When your changing over from veg to flower do you go straight bk to the same ec/ppm as you had in veg or do you build it up slowly again ? My level at moment is 1.0 ec 700 ppm, thanks in advance.

If your plans toleratd it, sure. If they they give you that look, throttle it back a bit.
Well its all newish to me but last time i put flower nutes in at same level and they didnt like it loads of stains on the leafs appeared which i now think was nutrient burn but could of been a diffiency i suppose thats why i just want to make sure on the levels going into flower, has anyone else noticed a problem with putting flower nutes in at the same level ?

I dont change my nutes at all. From veg to chop its the exact same concoction, so perhaps some others will chime in. My ppm never changes, yours may. Have you considered giving them 1/2-3/4 strength and seeing where that puts them for a feeding or two?

Yeh i started it in flower this yime at half nutes like you said, just out of interest wanted to no what other people were doing, i am growing aeroponic way could this be a factor in it, like its less forgiving then soil ? I dont even no if it is less forgiving, ide rather ask the question if poss than find out by my mistakes ha, thanks jon e doe for advice, ive read a book and shit load of youtube lol and never heard anyone say to lower nutes at start of flower burt never heard it say not to either

i'm at high elevation and i can't run strong nutes at all without tip burn. sometimes EC of 0.5 burns them.

and aeroponic probably needs the lightest strength nute levels of all forms of hydro. what EC/ppm are you at?

This is where a continuous ppm gauge in Resevior really helps I veg at 700-800 ppm and my peak during flower is 1350 ppm. Gotta read what your plants tell you. If my ppm stays the same over a couple of days as the plants drink I know my ppm is good. If the number climbs that tells me there is too high of ppm and more water less nutrients being used. If ppm falls as they drink I know my ppm is too low. I top off my res every 2 days with RO water then add some A and B nutrient to get my ppm back up and do a full res change every 7-10 days

It's much better for the plants if you use the numbers your plants tell you over waiting to see physical signs of damage like leaf burn.

I was at about 600 ppm in veg built up over wks 2 and 3 of veg slowly not listening to the side of the bottle of nutes as thats a load of bollocks what they say on the side of them ive learnt, last 2 grows when i flipped to flower first time and kept same levels my first grow i could tell it affected the plants and some more than others but wasnt to bad but second time it slowed them right down and bad visually to look at with the burnt leaves; both lots though smoked fine so i no its not really a big deal im just after a grow where i no nothing could of affected its potential as theres been something last 2 lots i wasnt happy with like really warm water tank over 30 degreees& electric trips etc, this grow upto now been good and like it to stay like that, oh yeh andthe ppm at 350 this time when i flipped then.
