nutrient injection / automation ?

Hello,

I'm looking to automate my watering in a 10x10 tent ( soil ) and am wanting to do this without using any tanks / reservoirs. Is it possible to build something like the easy feed system, but for much cheaper?

The easy feed and the dosatron are really the only 2 that I can find but those systems seem super expensive :\ anyone have other ideas?

Sorry if this is a silly question, but where does the water come from currently?

A single pump can feed many plants, keep the Resevoir outside the tent and put your tray 4" higher than the top of the reservoir. Flower using a flood and drain system, this way lets you have automated watering that you clean and refill every X days based on the number of plants. You need very little stuff, A small air pump with a weight attached to the air hose to creat turbulence, two fittings, two hoses 3/4" & 1/2" I.D. And a good pump and a container w a lid.

my resevoir is 16 gallons feeding 4 seperate 10 gallon rubbermaid containers.
