Nute line up, a little help please !

Hey guys. This is my second grow and I've only used a basic 3 part (FF) with no additional nutes prior. This time around I'm using Cutting Edge Solutions 3-part Grow-Micro-Bloom, and I absolutely love these and so do my plants (see sig). Also Silica Blast and CalMg+. I'm running a DWC.

First question is....I'm looking to add a bloom booster/PK this grow. From my research I like the looks of Botanicare Hydroplex, Liquid Koolbloom....I'm sort of on a budget but I also want a quality product. Any suggestions?

Second, does one usually cut back on the Micro and Bloom when adding a bloom booster?

And last, can someone reccommend a clean source of carbs for DWC?

Any help much appreciated. Stay lifted.

You dont need carbs unless your looking for slime imo... Definitely cut back on base nutes when using a bloom booster. The only experience I have with boosters is MOAB (Mother of all blooms) and I reduce my base nutes to about 50-60% during the weeks i use it and would definitely suggest it as a semi affordable pk booster.

I use the General Hydroponics 3 part, which I'm assuming is at least similar. I just following the dosing schedule they provide. The 3 part is still used with their version of the bloom booster. I would see no issue with using a bloom booster of a different brand, but I would compare the PPMs, and chemical content of what you plan to use against the FF bloom booster and adjust how much you use accordingly.

If you are on a budget I wouldn't worry about a Carb product. Look up House and Garden Bud XL. It is basically Enzymes that make use of the Natural sugars in the plant's by taking them out of the leaves and focusing them on the Bud's. I posted a Link below and I don't think many people would argue that House and Garden is a top of the line nutrient company that produces Bud XL. It also isn't thick and will not gunk up your Rez. If you go that route(which is what I use and there is a House and Garden thread on the front page of the nutrient forum where you posted this) they also have a bloom booster very similar to MOAB but from my experience a little better and cleaner(tastes better and mixes better) that is called Shooting Powder. If you want to see results look at my Sig I have on the bottom of my posts. Also the guy was right on when he said cut it back at least 50%. I usually cut it back more than that but 50% is recommended.
