Hey guys, I'm doing this as a microgrow in a PC case... I don't think i can get a much bigger pot.....

I'm going to leave it in the pot because it will be the third time that I will repot it and I dont want to do so again because it may stunt the plant even more...

I'm going to just water with plain rain water from now on (making sure the ph levels are safe) and water ever 2-3 days.

Any other tips to combat the PH lockout??

Hi Serci.. sorry to hear about your situation. How about making a custom pot from an empty plastic container you may have around the house... I'm not sure if a 1 gal. container would fit in your grow-box, but I'm sure something slightly smaller than 1 gal. would work just fine. Just make sure you sanitize whatever container you use very well. And if you're concerned about light getting through, maybe you could wrap a T-shirt or old pair of shorts around the container.. These forums are great, and filled with plenty of members who are willing to help.

(It looks like a 1 gal. container just might be a perfect fit.)

Wish you and your baby the best.. :weed:

Yeah, thank you all for the help, I'm sure she'd be dead by now if you guys didnt give me some pointers. She's looking a little better now... the lower leaves gained a little colour, however the edges are still looking pretty bad.. Hope she keeps on recovering, I'll leave her in this pot for now.. and will update you guys in a few days if anything changes!

PLEASE HELP ME!!!!

The lower leaves have died and I'm getting discolouration on the new leaves as well!! I'm not too sure where to go from here, I've been watering every 2 days using rain water, I still haven't got a PH kit because of money, Light cycle is at 18/6.... Could this be because my plant is too close to the lights as well???

It couldn't still be because of the pot I'm using could it??

Should I really repot it for the third time in something like a one gallon sized pot??

Should I use a different soilmix? Right now I'm using 1/3 vermiculite 1/3 peat moss 1/3 potting soil, I had flushed twice before the repot.. Temps are staying between 22-28 celcius which is ideal... Could it be because my lights are not strong enough??

Okay, repotted into a pot that's 8x8inches or 20x20cms. The plant has been repotted at about 2inches from the bottom of the pot.. I think this may be too low actually because there wont be enough room for root growth.. Just gave the plant a good watering with the rain water... I will get my 130w CFL tomorrow an install it to total 214w's in my grow room.

My grow box is a total of 23.5inches high(60cms) with roughly only 13 inches of useable growing room (from the soil to the lights up top). I would like to make myself a bedside cabinet some day roughly 30x30x25inches (WxHxL) because it might work out to be better and fits perfectly between my desk and bed...

Here is the current setup

You are watering too much bro, let that thing dry out some. You should only have to water her about every 4 to 5 days being that small, she will let you know when she needs water. Feel the weight of the pot, when it feels empty give water w/ 1/4 grow nutes only. Dont water again until the pot feels empty again. Then just water. Only water until 10% run off. Schedule it for feed, water, water then feed again. Adjust nutes one quarter until full strength. Btw, dont try to use test strips in the soil. Lol. Test the run off water.

Hey man, thanks for the tips, another guy told me 2-3 days.. I water when the soil is feeling dryish at 2inch below soil level and the leaves are feeling dry, and water till I get a little bit of run off. Because I got a bigger pot, I'll only water every 4 days now..

I think it's already too late to save her however.. Do you guys think it's possible for me to try and clone her?? I'll see how far she'll go and report back in a week or sooner if things change.

No dont think u will be able to clone but id definitely feed her she needs food. topsoil has very low nutes just go 1/4 strength of some 10-10-10 and make sure u ph water to 6.5 or close to 6.5. I dont see any signs of overwatering.

Hey guys, I'm not too sure what I should go and do now... It almost looks like my plant is lost for good... if it survives it will be severly stunted but I still may be able to clone if I get some decent leaves... She is slowly getting worse, now I'm feeling bad because I finally got it all setup, 130w +42w at 6400k and 42w at 2400k... temps are hitting up to 90 now if I close everything up.. But they are all good if i leave the front off which I do when I'm home..

BTW pH levels are at around 7.5-8.0!!!!
I will try to water with the smallest portion of lemon juice in my water, around 0.5-1ml for 1 because I read it will lower it.

BTW turbo civic go hard :) I got a b18c2 I wanna turbo ;) might jsut get a k20swap tho

Yeah I think part of ur problem in ur soil is the 1/3 peat moss, if I remember correctly peat moss can be very acidic so you don't wanna overdo it, and u can always go buy one of those cheapo 3-way meters for water, light, and ph. The ph one usually breaks 1st and isn't very accurate but it sounds like u were havin some overwatering issues, so u could use that to get an idea when ur plant needs water. Just gotta remember it can be more harmful to over water ur plant than underwater it cause u can't take the water out, its kinda like cooking a sauce u don't pour in all the spices at once cause u can't take em out after, but with ur plant its always easy to give it water if u see it needs it.

Damn, I got that ratio from a forum aboit soilmix... I guess I may have to re evaluate my soil mix....

What soilmixes are u guys running?

Ok.. well i just repotted AGAIN into about 3 part potting mix 1 part verm and 1 part peatmoss...... The roots looks pretty healthly.

I'm not going to do a thing to it anymore and see if it can get better by itself..

However if someone thinks theres a better soil mix I can use, or give me further tips I'd like to hear it..
