Npk q's

Has anybody ever experimented with different NPK Ratios? I’m trying to find the optimal NPK for both outdoor and indoor growing. I’ve heard outdoor plants require more Nutes than indoor plants.

Does anybody have any input?

It is the same plant but outdoors there are more variables. More stress, frequent and rapid temp change, plus the sun’s rays are very different than artificial lights. That’s why I believe there would be two different NPK requirements.

the variables of outdoors dont affect the npk, the sun is taking care of thru photosynthesis and the nutes take care of the roots. kinda late for outdoors isnt it?

One major difference is that in a pot the nutes cannot leach away. So over time the nute and residue do collect ( the reason for a flush). In nature, the nutes and the residue will leach away. That is why they give more nutes to outdoor plants as compared to indoor plants. Simple

If, you water your plant with nutes in it. The plant will uptake the nutes (mostly at night) by the roots, it does this while the rest of the plant is resting. The plant is setting itself up for all the work it has to do tomorrow. The nutes will travel throughout the plant and give it the nutes it needs where it needs.

The nutes do not take care of the roots. The nutes work their wonders down here too. The roots are there for stabilization of the plant and nute and moisture uptake.

No matter what anyone says, a plant cannot tell the difference in the nutes they uptake. N is nitrogen, whether it comes from piss (it will burn your plant) or from Peter Pan's nutes mix. They don't care. You, however, may notice a difference in taste.

I just use Peter's fertilizer for Growth and Peter's for Bloom (for macro). I add a tad bit of Super Thrive (has micros) and Molasses (has micros). That's it. It works for me. I don't waste my money on that other stuff. Oh, lights I have lots of lights, cfl's.

I did do an initial soil test on the grow medium that I chose and things haven't changed much since then. I work on the KISS theory.

my comment was in response to WW's comment about peeing in your plants that may cause the taste to be affected. I dont care enough about your posts to comment so move along and stop sending me PM's.
