Now What Are We Going to do About the 25 Mile Rule.

Oregon doesn't have dispensaries from my recollection. So, no big businesses cultivating over 100 plants. It's kinda funny the 25 mile rule is just as dangerous to dispensaries in AZ as it is patients. Actually, the AZ dispensary model is dangerous, imo. If you require a dispensary to cultivate 70% of it's own meds; that would put you over the 99 plant limit wouldn't it? I don't know I am just some tard that calls RIU his 'home' :p
Yeah Washington and Oregon dont have stupid money hungry dispensaries. Colorado has them but they are regulated differently because the prices on their meds is a lot cheaper than say AZ and Calif.

Colorado has the 70/30 law like az. Colorados law has been set up to be a for profit model, unlike az and ca, supposed to be non profit

Time to come out of the Closet folks!!

An action by the patients must happen! Talk is cheap!

A call to action!!!
We all need to come together and address the issue!
In a free society it is critical to address problems to achieve results! Talk is talk! As a citizen of a free society you should NOT be afraid to express your constitutional rights. Our founding fathers built a system for Us! A system to acquire equal opportunities to all the citizens of this free society. To sit and talk about this issue would be foolish. An action is the key to this issue being repealed and equal for all.. As a citizen of this free nation I will do what I can as 1 person but that is not ENOUGH! It takes numbers.

The question.
Are you going to talk about repealing the "25 Mile Rule"? Or Do you want to repeal the "25 Mile Rule"?

Don't label me a criminal!
I am a patient! I am a tax payer. I work 6 days a week. I do what is right! Most importantly I am a Citizen of America.

"there is no end of opinions ready to be expressed. Studying them can go on forever and become very exhausting! Here is my final conclusion: fear God and obey his Commandments, http://www.biblestudy.org/basicart/are-ten-commandments-relevant-in-modern-world.html for this is the entire duty of man...."

What ever your RUB maybe!!! It is Unconstitutional to take away medicine from the people!

“I have the right to do anything,” you say—but not everything is beneficial. “I have the right to do anything”—but I will not be mastered by anything.
1 Corinthians 6:12

Our Country was Founded upon these very Principles. W.W.O.F.F.D. = What Would Our Founding Fathers Do?????

The 70/30 part was taken out of the most recent set of rules from DHS... HOWEVER they are currently crafting the most updated version, to be announced.

I don't see them pulling the 25mile rule on their own. phxfire is right.

Why would they?

Making everyone shop at the same grocery store will Boost sales and create Due Taxes!!!

I see a BIG tax coming down the road for dispensaries!!!!! No one is really thinking about that!!

Imagine a 20% tax on ALL cannabis sales from a dispensaries!! It would be a Sale Tax Privilege License!! What patient wants to pay

$300 for an OZ
$45 on TAX
$345 to walk out the door with Medicine!!

Not going to happen! Folks will go Underground and Suppress the WHOLE spirit of the Medical Marijuana Act!!

If the 70/30 rule is taken out then would dispensaries be cultivating 100% of their supply? If not where would they be obtaining their medical cannabis? Caregivers cannot provide for patients who live in 25 miles of a dispensary; so, there goes the whole valley. Don't forget about Flag and Tuscon. People who literally live in the sticks will be the only patients being able to grow but then how will they get effective medical treatment? It sounds like this law really wasn't written with the AIDS, cancer, or etc patients. I feel like a cow being put to slaughter and before that happens I am being bled and milked dry.

Yeah its pretty shitty dude. I feel your pain, I'm hoping I will okay as I live deep in suburbia hell. For instance my drive to and from work ( work is downtown Phx) is 30 miles one way.

Bummer Beav, not even close to being outside 25 miles from a dispensary once they open. Very sad to take a 25 mile size circle & lay it on a map to see what would be covered, not fron the center of towns but from dispensary locations. Staggering . . .

I got an email from the state about renewal of my card. I have three months...though they don't start the processes until March 15, 2012. Renewal fee is same as application fee...$150. If you have a food stamp card you can reduce the fee to $75.00. Not to mention the certificate from the doctor is extra.

$150 to the State every Year is good thing though it MAY not be fun to pay every year!!!

The cost to write up a certification from the Doc is BS!!! $150 for what? Looking over your record and filling out a Single paper!!!

Why not Offer free Cerifications? Would this not bring More business to your practice!!! Damn doctors!!!

My regular doctor doesn't want to fill out the certificate because he says he doesn't want the feds in his business, but he will write me a recommendation to take to another physician. I'm gonna take in all the paperwork to him anyway and try to persuade him to change his mind.

You can renew your card when there is three months to go on the validation date. If you wait til after that date you have to reapply as a new card holder. Though I don't know what difference it makes the price is the same. My card expires April 15 and I got an email from the state Jan 15 reminding me of my upcoming renewal. I'm gonna renew it April 3.
Im August also, just hope to renew before A dispensary opening .
