Nothin like a windy day

My girls have had a tough time with wind...I like in the Columbia River Gorge, May-Aug a 20 MPH breeze is a light day. I'm in a fairly wind protected area..But I staked my girls for two weeks and then tried to let them grow natuarlly and three of them were blown over, they are all about 24" tall.

Dude I live in a part of so cal that gets a shit load of wind, it can be frustrating at times, on real windy days I try to shield my plants. Good luck....

I don't even like to tie mine down because I feel like it makes them weak being supported and all.... the wind makes em strong!

Yeah..But if they are 18" clones, you need to support them until they get established. Otherwise they will blow over.
