Not your average first grow! 7 strain scrog

So what do you do when your boy says "I don't think this growing thing is for me"?

Borrow that ish and figure out how to use it.

First I'd like to thank all the contributing riu members I couldn't have gotten this far without your help.

So this is what i'm working with for equipment.

Veg:
Hydrofarm 6x4' t5

Mother:
Hydrofarm 4x4' t5

Clones:
21 site Aeroclone w 2x2' t5

Flower:
2x 600w HPS w/ digi ballast
300cfm in line fan 24" carbon filter w. Backdraft flange

I'm also using 3x humidifiers and about a dozen fans total. Ona gel for
Secondary odor control.

I started my clones (all from clone) in sunshine rainforest potting mix and quickly moved over to sunshine mix 4 with + 30% perlite . I inherited a full fox farm line (everything) so I decided to finish that before switching to GH floraduo. ialso use bonticare calmag. Ro water only always ph'd and tds tested. I have central AC so temps are always 70-76 with a RH constant around 60% in veg room and 40% in flower. I run automated watering systems using 600 series water pumps for flower and 500 series for veg.

I initially picked up GDP , power Kush, AK-48 , and this week ass purple pinecone
A week and a half later I picked up blue dream, sour grapes, and blueberry .
those will be referred to as group a and b respectively.

I started with some lst and fim and then learned about SCROGing. So I decided to do group a and b in their each 30g container With a single screen for each group. My first clones were brought home on June 1 and btw this is a state law conforming MMJ grow. I'm sure i'm missing some things but i'm on my phone at work so I'll update any missing pieces and pics.

Now for some pics .. There are a total of 11 plants this group a (5girls)

This is group a just after going into flower and NEW group c. I soon realized that 5-7 plants per box is unnecessary so we cut back to 3 , 2 blue dream and an AK-48 . Blue dream is supposed to be a high yielder but nothing I've seen keeps up with this AK-48 pheno. Wait till you see my current pics of the 2 strains ND can't keep pace even at a 2/1 plant ratio.

I got a little lazy with the pics after this so we jump ahead a couple Weeks in the next set.

Groups a and b are off and running about 12 days apart.

Both groups finished the initial stretch after going from 18/6 to 12/12 and are flourishing. In hind sight I could have left them veg for a week or two longer.

These were taken around day 33 on group A and 21 on group B all together the 2 screens span 84" x 32" which if my math's right should be optimal for 2 600w HPS lights considering the spectral overlap in the middle. This stage is a little difficult with the whole hurry up and wait thing. But on the bright side I did get a hold of a non phone camera and can take some semi normal pics now. I'm pretty happy with the number of bud sites developing and the size on them. The GDP couldn't really keep up with the growth rate of the Ak-48 and power kush and that's a bit of a bummer, especially since the GDP has the most crystal growth. I'll partner her up with some Herojuana that I picked up for group D. They should have similar growth rates.

Here's a little bit of super novice bud porn for ya. This is mostly current picks of group A, which I should note that even though purple pine cone came with the first set of clones it was such a slow moving shit strain that it went into the second box they were supposed to be 2 boxes of 6. Aweful strain.

from seeing the pics i would lower lights allot more then you got them at now if you get a chance check out my journal starting day 37

looks good man ill sub, gotta go from work right now, but ill check in hisweekend sometime. scrog loks goo tho. and your doin things right brobably why you have such a lack of responses.. +rep anyways.

I know I posted a lot of pics so ... We're you talking about the t5's or the hps? I raised the hps for the pictures. I try and keep the t5's around 4" I would like to keep around 2" but the HO t5's get a little warm
