So here is my question I am going to be using a ebb and flow system with 6 plants and dutch master gold Nutes. I know that nobody can tell me my yield but i was wondering if some 1 could tell me what it would be compared to if i used a 400 watt or 1000watt HPS how much of a difference would the 1000 make compared to the 400. I have a 400 already but am considering using it as a permanent veg light and getting a 1000w watt do you guys think?

the more light you have, the bigger your yield will be no matter what. Definitely get the 1000 wt and your plants will love you for it

I love my plants to but $300 woth of love? I could get to RPG'S and a filipino bride for that. Do you think the differences with between a 400 watt and a 1000 watt would be in OZ

P.s My rx8 is faster than yours =)

if you want a vegging and flowering area its a good idea. but it really doesnt matter because either way no one can guess your yield just based on lighting let alone all the other factors that come into play.... like soil, nutes, ect.

just try it and find out for yourself.

Hey super high me Im not trying to guess my yield I know its impossible to guess that what i am trying to do is to find out what the difference would be if I used a 400 vs a 1000watt if i kept all the factors the same besides the light how big of a difference do you think I would get between the 2?

2 grow rooms are better than 1.
if you have the room for it, go for it.
a 400 watt just for one or two mother plants plus clones would be perfect.
i only have room for one and it fucken sucks that i cant have two grows going at the time time.

any one else know what the difference in yields would be between a 400 watt light vs a 1000watt light if you kept every factor the same besides the lights?

if its your first grow, why not just get a feel for the game and try and get the max yield you think you can from the light you already have. In my opinion its not really worth the expense if its your 1st go. and even if it isnt, all the peeps that i know that grow with 1k's are not personal use growers. Not saying people dont use 1k lights for personal weed, but you can get great yields using what you have. Up to you and your preference really, but avoid buyers remorse and use what you have, next time cawp the 1 k and start 2 rooms if all goes excellant this time. Thats just my opinion anyhow.
