Im a newbie and I am not sure what to do with my plant. I transplanted into fox farm ocean 6 weeks ago and have been using just water then I started to notice the leaves change color so I started feeding recipe for success at 1/2 strength.i am not sure what else I should do.any suggestions would be appreciated.

I can't tell what is wrong looking at the plant.
More info will help the others who are familiar with RFS nutes.
How many times have you fed the plants nutes since you started feeding the plant?
How often do you feed water only between feeding nutes?
How much of each nutrient did you add per gallon of water?
Do you have a TDS meter to test your water?

I have fed them once. I used 1/2 of recommended dose . I do have a ppm meter and just received pH meter. I use distilled water with nutrients. And we'll water all other times I have switched to all dustilled water I water every other day as needed by feel of soil 1 inch deep if dry I water if moist I wait another day. I do have plant on 24 600 watt my light ineed to get timer.

Did you test the ppm reading after mixing the nutes in the water?
What did it read?

I did not they were like that prior to feeding. Im just not sure if I added enough only going 1/2 strength
IDK. Could be hungry.
Might be in need of some nitrogen and magnesium but I'm having a difficult time reading it.
Might be your watering like hotrodharley said. Watering to often can cause soil PH problems causing nutrients to be locked out.
What have your temp and humidity high and lo ranges been?
How far is the 600w light from the canopy of the plant?
Does the light have an air cooled hood or is it an open reflector?

My light is 18 inches above it has gotten to 100degrees once for about 1hour light is not air cooled another investment I have to make when I move to my tent I don't know if I can keep them cool enough. I have a soil moister/pH/light tester in soil. Humidity 40-50 if they are locked how do I fix it thanks for your help. How often should I water them and how much water .

Not sure of the size of your pots but I water my 2 gallon pots every 4-5 days, my 3 gallon pots every 5-7 days. Not every other day.

That one inch of soil is not only a myth but it's dangerous to your plants! Easy way to over water

..stick your finger down as far as you can, I stick my finger in the drain hole in the bottom of the pot.

Best way in my opinion is learn how to judge by weight, let a plant get very dry, feel the weight, then water it fully and feel the weight and remember the difference between the weights, good luck

Also you should probably stop feeding until you get this issue straightened out when you get your meter readings let us know what they are?

Ok so decrease my watering to every 3-4 days should I water my plants with distilled water or tap water. I have 3 and 5 gallon smart pots. Should I water until I see run off

Watering by weight or by sticking your finger deeper than an inch would probably help but you've likely got a pH thing going on

Those three in one PH meters you stick in your soil are not accurate for your pH, you got to get a stick pen type, one of those cheap yellows meters is better, cuz you got a pH issue going on most likely

* so I'm guessing you're using tap water do you know what pH it comes out of the tap at?
