Not ideal conditions and worried about young plants

Hey guys my plants are in pics above....
I had them in small biodegradable pots, which in turn were in 10L - I'm a complete newbie.....
I know the light they are under is too strong - 600w dual spectrum hps but I don't have an alternative.....
6 plants in a 1.2 x 1.2 x 2.0m tent in coco
4inch intake and 5 inch outtake which I know is a bit small
not sure what my humidity is because meter is hydrogarden thermometer and humidity meter, the thermo bit works fine but just 2 horizontal lines on the humidity bit...
They are about 4 weeks since seed.......
The leaves look a bit droopy and I'm worried they might going a bit yellow, I've only fed them once, last week with 1/3 doses of house and garden a and b, roots xl and aminos. I'm letting them go dry after watering before watering again......
Any advice would be most appreciated....... :-(

Hiya adamsgoneawol, looking at picture No.5 plant(lady) looks a bit stretched and underdeveloped for 4wks old? because they so small (I) Would lay off any Nutes.

Don' t let your Ladies completely dry out either...How much Feed/Water do you give when you do?? ml? Ltr? when you transplanted into bigger Pots did you water in?

And lastly how far away from Ladies is your 600w Hps? you might want to invest in a cheap? 23-42w CFL and hang at about 3-4" away for a couple days/Week?? give a kick start with closer Lumens and no Heat worries..like I said I think they been stretching for the Light.

Peace

Yes I seriously jumped with the lights - I had them under 30w flouro at first, but then I read loads of people say they would be fine under 600w hps - its dual spectrum, as long as I kept good distance from seedlings, which I did, then I lowered light to 30 inches a couple of days ago, which now i think about it has coincided a bit with them drooping, maybe I should take light up a few notches......
I've only feed them once - I had 6 litres of water - worked out the relevant doses per 6 litres and then only used a 1/3 of that dose. the problem was then i gave them 1 litre each - in 10 Litre pots, and then the bulb blew out literally 2 hours after i left on christmas day and they were sat soaking without light for 48 hours til i could get replacement.....

Roots Before Shoot.
Give them time don't over water the soil. Moist soil, never wet.

IMO- you should of started with a smaller container, and worker up to 10L (2.6gallon)

Good Luck on Your Grow.

The light intensity isn't helping. Get a cfl use that to start them in future. The main issue here is UNDERFEEDING , bro you have to feed plants in coco. Start feeding hydro nutes asap at full str, not 1/3 not 1/2 ok, FULL STR EVERY WATERING

Hiya adamsgoneawol, hope you manage to sort your Ladies? Tis shit when things blow or break, spec if you ain't got a spare...I've just ordered a 600w setup, only downer(cuz it was cheap) is the Bulb that comes with it is Dual? will run with this for a wk and when Payday comes round order 2x 600w Bulbs Hps & Mh and then box the Dual 600w Bulb up as a Spare....really wanted to go the Digital Ballast route this time round but funds just too tight straight after Crimbo....

Peace

Yes I'm rueing decision not to use cfl....... But Ahhh shit really? Underfeeding? They're only small and a week or two old, I fed them on christmas day for first time........ I actually though I might have been witnessing symptoms of nutrients too soon, or overdose. You really think underfeeding is whats wrong - even with the problems i describe about my set-up? Sorry dude, not questioning your knowledge I just wanna make sure i completely understand before i chuck a load of nutes in there too

If your not sure don't do it...Trust your own Instincts as well...Little Trick(Tip) I picked up on here I think...LOL always baked! is this use your finger/little finger and push into soil maybe 4-5cm into Soil/Compost mix>If when you remove finger you have bits of moist-ish mixture sticking to fiinger then Soil/Compost is fine don't water..Another thing you can do>is if you have Scales(bathroom) for larger Pots..Then weigh plants when Dry(or after you initial potting of little root ball into bigger Pot) then you have DRY Weight reference. Then after you water and allowed any run off weigh again and you have WET Weight reference.

I think a lot of peeps water/feed every third day, maybe longer depending on how much Ltr they give to size/age of plant and also size of container.

and of course some water one tiime and feed another...

Peace

Well I just checked them and one or two or drooping even more, I'm gonna feed them in the morning I think.......
Got anymore pics? drooping even more??..what are your Temps & Humidity....

Peace

Is the Medium DRY then? none sticking to your finger? if you did the test?

Hope you sort @ the End of the day you gotta go with what feels right to You..advice is one thing, but you living with the plants everyday and see the little changes that a camera can't and you are the best person to know and treat em.. just ask, look up Info...and do what you gotta do...

yeh I got another 2 blue cheese seeds in paper towel in my bedroom now, not making same mistakes as first time - I'm gonna keep these in my room, keep a small discreet experimental thing going with cfl's.... get them through seedling and into nice healthy plants.

Yeh I pushed my finger down, a few little grains stuck but not much else, I only gave them a little bit of water yesterday..... I reckon they'll dry out by tomorrow mid-morning, i'll go up and feed them then.......

Jus thought, how much water (with feed) per plant? They in 10 L pots, should i give them 1 L? I got the house and garden nutrient calculator here.....

Fed them this morning at 2/3 doses.... they looked slightly perkier a few hours later, see what happens when i check later... The list of mistakes I've made in the first few weeks is as long as my arm.... even though I was reading for 4 months straight before I started....
Hopefully wont lose the plants, they pretty resiliant right?
