Not flowering

I have 2 berry bomb autos at 49 days old. One is already well into flowering but the other is bigger and has been sitting with preflowers for like 2 weeks. Could it be I got a photoperiod seed instead? I'll get pictures up when I turn the lights back on in the tent.

I got a 42 day old big bud that doesn't even look as close to flowering as your "problem" one. Wondering if I got bad genetics.

All the plants you showed were flowering....looks fine to me, just might take a bit longer
They've been in this preflower state for like 2 weeks with no change though while the other is much further ahead. Should I try to put the lights 12/12?

No and those arent preflowers. That is typical growth of a more sativa leaning plant.
Imo i wouldnt change a thing.

Now if it was showing signs of reveg, or otherwise not complete flowering that would be different. I dont see any of that

Its cool. The breeder info will not match every seed. Some take longer, some get taller. Some may get fat indica leaves, some may get sativa leaves. All seeds will vary a little bit.

It looks like its flowering. Give it some time it will it will grow.

How long should I wait before turning lights to 12/12 if they don't start progressing?

You shouldnt...

Have patience..yea i know i wasnt the one you were asking

But i feel fairly confident as he also said it was flowering, that he feels as i do..and he said give it time
Right on the head.

I've seen plants sit like they are stalled, normally they explode after.

To me it looks like its made its mind to flower. She will. You know women, they are ready when they are ready.

The one plant did start flowering much more, this is the other berry bomb auto at 50 days old in a 2 gallon smart pot. Seems kind of small, don't know if I stunted it early onimage.jpg

the plant is small due to the fact it was in a 2 gallon planter

at most that is 1 quart 1 pint of water maximum before it leaks out so the plant is going to be small .......try a 5 or a 7 gallon bag u will get a much better result just to the fact the roots have more room and more water

when a auto plant goes longer then what it AD on the sites is a good thing means u are doing it right so the plant wants to keep growing ....going longer in flowering is even better the buds are always tighter and odds by the end the branches are bending from the weight of the flower

i have had plants go 110 days 114 days 127 days ...........the latest one was a 114 days the plant was rated for 45 grams i did 178 grams ( combo of feeds/super soil and CO2 enrichment )

I mean it will be ok. Really need to get it under control, its gonna be terrible smoke if it prigresses any more. Those crispy leaves will destroy your end product they are really harsh

Def has potential, looks dank. I migjt pick me up some of the real thing-photo

Unless your smoking the leaves how would it make the buds harsher? The flowers are completely separate from the leaves. I'll agree having leaves like that isn't ideal but they're 1-2 weeks away from being done so don't see how it would effect taste/harshness. I'm finding a hard time figuring out how to grow plants that stay healthy till the end. I used supersoil this time and they still got sick.

Hello Joe, Newbie Gardner here. I feel I can give you a bit of advice from all the research I've been doing. It is completely normal for these had girls to show signs of yellowing and for yellowing to occur all over the stock ( end of harvest time ) , the reason for this is there sucking the nutrients out of the leaves creating a yellow leaf once all nutrients have been sucked. Your babies look almost ready to harvest. Suggestion pick up a trichome magnifier because they look done pretty much. Regards newbie gardner

No thats not normal at all..it makes the bud harsher because you cant remove every leaf down to the base it wouldve been fine if it hadnt progressed to sugar leaves. If you want help keeping plants healthy make a thread, catch it alot sooner next time.

They are 10 weeks old now but 1 of the berry bombs just started really flowering while the other one looks done. Is it normal for 2 autoflower plants of the same strain to flower so drastically different?

Not sure about normal, but my younger plant flowered before my older one in the same conditions. Sometimes it's just genetics, I think.
