Not exactly topping or supercropping, I must be spiraling outta control

So I have a blue gelato 41. It's from Barneys Farm feminized. She has crazy long internodes. I topped her about 2 weeks ago. And the 2 new top shoots got freaking tall quick like. So I thought about maybe supercropping the 2 new shoots, Then my stoned mind started spiraling! LOL. So I did this to the top 2. I basically braided them with there top big fan leaf. Does anybody think this crazy idea might work?? Let opinions fly, LOL.

I tie my plants to stuff that’s not growing with what I’m trying to hold, my plants would prob rip the fan leafs off tbh, leave it, I want to see what happens now lol. I was high and cut the growth tip right off one of my plants lol, oh that wasn’t a fan leaf...

Yeah, I like to get a lil freaky wi my girl's sometimes, .

I'll try and get some pics of my outdoor girls tomorrow to show.
I use fencing like you did to create a cage around each plant, topped them like I normally do with 6 main branches and then added a section of the fencing on the top of the cage.
That allows me to weave any unruly branches. I have a Critical+ that's gonna be quite nice.
I also encountered my first TMV/HLV/dudding on a Seedsman Jack Herer bean that was 3 years old.

There's still a month of veg time, give or take. I will see in time but I'm really not to worried about that, YET.

Dandelions look like they are doing fine.

A few pics of the 3 girls.
The whorled/variegated leaves are from the Jack Herer.
I'm pretty sure it has TMV/HLV virus.
I just used field fencing rolled into a 30" drum and staked into the ground.
When the plants reached the top of the barrel, I made a top panel to allow me to secure/weave branches.
The Bubba is about a week into flower, the Critical+ just started and the Jack looks like it may flower in a few weeks.

Uumm, yeah I'm a little behind on the weed whacking. LOL. Ya I know it not the prettiest backyard grow.

Here's a little update on my twisted girl. 6 day's after. First 2 pics are july 3rd. Last 2 are today july 9th.



As I thought, the secondary branches just hit the gas pedel. As I also basically lst'd the twin tops as well as the fancy twist job thing. Lol. Any how it looks like I might have some multiple solid tops come October though.

careful if those get too big they might pinch each other or one might pinch the other off some how.. I've had plants that Ive just weaved through cages but weaving them from one side of a plant to the other for the best light and they eventually hit a spot against an immovable object where they'll get wet, wont dry, may rot, and/or girdle the stem and kill a whole branch late season.

I agree with thumper for the mold as well, thats a big concern later, and by then those stems wont be as pliable and your options will be limited.

Now if the plant ends up just staying small then you might be fine with it.. But id try to spread them and find a stake of some sort to tie off to if you need to tie them down.

I been birddoggin there growth every day. Yes I agree mold is an issue for later. But I can un-tie them for airflow later. Which I will do. Thanks for all your responses.

It was my main focus to slightly pinch the new 2 top shoots. And they are bulging out at the topping point. I am wise enough to untie them if necessary. Its not my first outdoor rodeo holmes.

Just saying, during late flower those will harden right up and snap if you try untie... But you do you holmes. You know best remember that.

I always untie them after they start stretching. And I've never had a "branch snap issue" I tie my branches as they sink down due to the weight of the flowers.

Whats the benefit of doing it in the first place then?

"Twizzler Training" LOL, hey it could be a new thing. Naw but this is the only pheno of the blue gelato 41 that's been this freaking long. The other bean I popped have a tighter node structure. But there still pretty big, stout plants. Here's a pic of the other bg41. It's on the right side. Her interode length won't accommodate the Twizzler technique.
