Northernlights at 42 days flower, how much longer?

Hey guys, this is my first plant going this far. I was told these were NL seeds and from what I have seen and read they appear to be just that. They were vegged for 4 weeks and are now at 42 days flower. The seed banks say 7-9 weeks for this strain but the trichomes are just now starting to turn cloudy at 7 weeks. The buds seem to have stopped putting on weight and the pistals are about 75% brown. The buds are very tight and compact, just what I was told they would do with this strain. Anyone have experience with this strain? I want the trichomes to be mostly amber. Do you think 9 weeks will do it or longer? What about the size of the buds? Will they get any bigger at this point? This one plant is 3 ft tall under 400w HPS about 8in away from the top. I have been giving it Molasses and water only for the last week. Its in soil in a 4 gal container. Many thanks in advance.

Last harvest I picked my NL at day 48...could have gone longer.

Just picked a batch of clones (NL) at day 55, and am leaving a tester to go the full 60...possibly 65-67 if I can stand waiting.

If you can let it definitely get into the 50's you'll be good with the smoke for sure.

If you could stand it, maybe blast it with one more feeding, then go 10 days of water/molasses only and you should be VERY happy.

Peace - OGH

Don't cut yourself short. I would think you need at least another 10days or so. You want your trichs to turn amber. I agree with oldgrayhair as to one more feeding at least then about a week or so of flush. You will have way tastier/stonier smoke if you wait.

those look sweet! you need to decide when you want to finish up and arrange your feed schedule to that time. you want to flush and get them to start yellowing off.
