NorthernBandit 1000w tent Multi Grow

Hey everyone, Just thought I'd get this journal started in real-time.

So here's the lay-out. Im using a Sun Hut XL grow tent, 1000w Lumatek Digital Switchable ballast, 400cfm inline fan and i'll most likely be doing this grow in ProMix and eventually RDWC.

So Yesterday I started germinating a couple seeds. I started a Pineapple Express, Kushberry, Haze Auto 2nd Grade, Diesel Ryder, Blue Cheese, Violater Kush and last but not least the new Ace of Spades. I placed the seeds in individual ziploc bags with water and paper towel to get these little ones to crack. I intend to start them under cfl's and good old fashined florescent lights until they are big enough to go under a 400w MH in the grow tent. After a bit of time under that light I will switch over to my 1000w, Please donate any helpful info you may have, this is not my first grow, however it is my first with the new light and tent so i'm hoping for great results. Lookin forward to doing this journal for everyone and am stoked to be able to do a smoke report on the strains I've chosen. I will be adding new strains to the mix throughout the grow but that wont be for a bit of time unless I find something I cant wait to start. Anyways I look forward to everyones comments. I'll put pictures up shortly. I'm going to wait until the little ones crack and see the sun for the first time. Cheers

I forgot to mention I also have a carbon filter and a bunch of random equipment from years of previous half assed grows which yielded some good results so I'm really excited for this run, its been a long time coming and ive been saving my pennys for awhile.

I'm going to start the germination and veg cycle in a homemade cabinet that also doubles as my tv stand. It's got about 8 cfl's 100w equivalent inside as well as 2 muffin fans for heat extraction and one for pulling clean air in. The temps get kinda high in there so I'm either going to add an extra fan for extraction or remove some of the cfl's.

It's only been about 20hours since I started soaking the beans and I know this part takes time but I can't wait for them to crack.
I decided to throw in two auto's just for fun and to see how they do. I figure it would be nice to smoke something just after putting the other ones into flower. So if anyone has any experience with any of the strains I'm currently starting please let me know your thoughts or any advice you may have for them. Thanks in advance. I hope this Journal helps myself and others in the future.

So after a quick check today the haze auto has a little tail sticking out but barely and it looks like the kushberry has cracked. The rest of the seeds I have currently germinating still look the same without any changes that I can see. I really hope the rest of them crack soon. However I still need to take a trip to petsmart and grab a few round air stones for my attempt at a rdwc scrog.

So far so good, all of my beans have cracked and sprouted little white tails. Except for The Violater kush and one of the Ace of spades beans. So I took the 5 that sprouted and placed them gently into non PH'd soaked peat pucks. I have the ph pen but I havent calibrated it yet and I've never really had any problems before doin this so I just went and did it. I used the tiny tray and dome that came with the peat pucks and placed them on a heating mat underneath a 2foot flourescent light. It has begun.

Well even tho I havent gotten any comments Im going to keep posting, maybe one day this thread will be a decent read. lol, anyways I just received my 420 order from the attitude, now Im just hoping I have some space for some more beans, So far 5 of 7 have cracked and been placed in peat pucks, still waiting on the other 2, If they dont crack then Im definetly throwing in something else to mix it up.

Hey thanks for the confidence, I've already started germinating 2 ace of spades so far and 1 has cracked already. No pics yet cause they havent popped throught the surface of the peat pucks yet however I do plan to start throwing up pictures soon.

Well in my haste in moving the seeds around I think i mislabeled one or two but I believe I fixed the problem I hope, fuck I hate when that happens. I went by size so I think its correct but who knows for sure, I was positive I was keeping track of them but I wrote down that the pineapple express broke ground label number 1 but today I take a peak and I see that label number 1 hasnt broken ground yet, FML and that means a bunch of the other ones are mislabeled as well and Im almost thinking maybe I should start from scratch but I dont have the heart to kill anything. I hope I figure out whats what.

Pineapple Express
Kushberry
Haze Auto 2nd Grade
Diesel Ryder
Blue Cheese, Hasnt cracked yet.
Violater Kush
Ace of Spades
So I'm hoping my mix up can be corrected easily judging by the known differences in charectoristics of the different strains, the autos will be obviously eliminated and recognized first and hopefully the know smell in veg of the pineapple express will come forth, I'm hoping the others will make themselves known as well, any help in telling them apart would be appreciated anything I should look for to tell would be great, thanks again for the help folks

Just added a 45w LED Glow Light to my veg cabinet to control temps, The ladies seem to enjoy it, they are currently 5cm tall and on their second set of leaves

So I have my tent running on a test run at the moment to see what temps are like inside, I turned down my ballast to 600w to keep the temps low but will most likely be bumping it up gradually in the beginning to see how the ladies fair. I have the inline fan dialed down to about half speed and so far im getting some nice temps. I;m going to do this test run until morning and see how everything fairs, I still have to Ph the water but i know what it was when it went into the system im curious how much it drops on its own. Well thats my update for now, the girls are lookin good under the glowpanel 45 led light I picked up for my veg box, Ill be moving the seedklings into their new dwc homes in the morning if everything goes well. anyways, cheers for now.
