Am growing a fem NL from Nirvana and have not tried NL before. I am looking for a laid back chill feeling from the smoke and heard this may do it. Nirvana took the Sensi NL some time back, so I felt good going with the cheaper company.

I smoke GDP and Maple Leaf Indica for this high, though the GDP is quite energetic for me right after I toke up.

I had read the Dr. Atomic is a better type of NL but want the laid back feeling and do not know if it has this. omgindicaman? I would have to go to Hemp Depot as well.

Yield is not a big deal, or looks. If it tastes ok, that is good enough. Quality of high is the main thing. There are a lot of NL breeders so any ideas welcome.

its not similar to Nirvana's rendition, the Atomic NL is stable and smell is similar to pinesol, the high is lucid but alot of floaties/electricity type of body high, a good bong rip leaves my head pounding for a few seconds and it eases off, very immediate effects. coupled with a pretty trippy visuals, i'd say this is the perfect "Beginners High" since it produces low to no anxiety, unless you smoke too much. I lose a sense of time on Atomic NL, easy to relax back or watch a movie. not the best working meds, not something i would smoke when i go out either because of the body effects. no anxiety from NL though, atleast i don't.

The Atomic NL sounds pretty awesome indicaman. I tried to pm you about this but I guess it did not go thru.

The problem with the nirvana is pheno variation, as far as I know from reading.

Peakseeds has a good reputation too, it all depends on whether or not the breeder made the NL more sativa than indica or 100% indica, the 100% indica seem to lack the visual/sensual feel of more original NL, like Sensi seeds version, HGF version and dr. Atomic's.

its a huge yielder,done in 9 weeks,has a nice heady high that turns into a nighty nite high,but the plant looks sativa,thinner leaves.the northern skunk they have is devestatingly good..

Mmmm, Northern Skunk sounds yummy. I also have some Nirvana NL's going. It's still way to early to gauge the leaves on my seedlings, but so far I've got some big ol gorgeous looking Indica leaves. I've heard from Jorge Cervantes and the hillibilly farmer (Seed Mine and Positronics), say that Northern Lights is typcially 80/20 indica. I've heard that Nirvana does have some variation in phenos with NL. A lot of people like the more sativa versions, and personally, I'm hoping for both. So even if the plant turns out 70/30, it should still be a heavy stone. Maybe it gets delayed a little, which is fine by me. Most true indicas can finish in 7-8 weeks, but Nirvana has theirs listed as 9 weeks, so that tells me there is definitely going to be some sativa in there. I am fascinated with how some strains can produce an indica "head" high. To me its almost an oxymoron. I grew Querkle and it was 80/20 but that 20 percent was Haze/Jack Herer/C99 influence and was not a stoned feeling at all. Happy growing!
