Would Northern Lights be considered a High Mid or low grade plant. And how much an average does an ounce and a pound go for around your way. Any and all input well come.

For many years, Northern Lights dominated the various harvest festivals, winning cup after cup,
leading to more than one request that she be retired from competition in order to allow other strains a shot at the title. That being said, you can bet she is a high-grade strain.

Have never seen it offered around this area. Typically, the going price for a zip here that may (or may not be) comparable is 400 plus.

Dude NL is high grade and it is one of those sadly ignored older strains. I grew NL in my last grow and everybody was chatting it up like it was some kind of new strain!! Its a really great plant to grow and smoke. Lots of hype out there for all these new hybrids but NL is one of those tried and proven strains that has become a base for lots of breeders.

Yield is good on NL. Well the last grow was a small aero-tub set up. I had 12 plants under a 1000w HPS. I got an average of 800-900 grams wet off each plant.

Very high grade. That strain has been used to cross with other strains because Northern Lights hits hard, it is a hearty plant, and can produce a lot under the rights conditions.

I'm growing NL right now.. From what I've read NL is a good strain for newbies, and has low odor. (which is why I chose it) Why then does it cost so much on the street?

the better the herb - the higher the price.

the shittier the herb - the lower the price.

I guess I thought that the harder to grow/lower the yield = higher price.. Since NL is pretty easy to grow and has a decent yield I didn't really see why it was so expensive. I guess that doesn't have much to do with it.

Not commonly grown commercially, stuff like Big Bud and other higher yeilding plants are more common. It's also about hype purples are in now so they flood the market and as a result the price drops.

supply and demand my friend, if everyone wants to buy some NL and only one dealer has it, he/she can jack those prices up. That's why i decided to grow my own, much cheaper and more satisfying IMO :) :) :)
