Northern Lights auto grow

I think I had initially gotten yellowing because I want protecting the riots enough from light ( was using only duct tape, the pot is clear plastic). When I transplanted, I saw the roots were biggest at the bottom but too fine near the top.

Thanks for following my grow! I'm eager to see how your auto turns out as well

It will be cool to follow both journals and see how they turned out. Its awesome because we both are growing the same strain and almost the same time!! Super cool. Interesting also because we almost have the same lighting, think i have 1 more CFL then you (i have 8 going now). What type of soil are you using?

Ffof now. Started in miracle grow organic soil, "natures care". Seems to be fine for my 3week old

Bigger plant is almost 5wks old. In fox farms ocean forest. The smell is subtle but would make any stoner take a double sniff, smell radius of about 15ft. No distinct buds yet but the white hairs are evident in a couple spots.

The younger one is still in miracle gro organic soil nature's care. Thriving better than my first one did. Lush growth.

I water the small container every 2 to 3 days (once I can see it's dry all the way to the bottom).

The large 3gal, I water a little bit more than weekly.

I'm going to have to set up another grow box because these two babies won't fit in the same space together when they're both grown. The grow box, again, I got from home depot for like $15. I drilled holes in the top for wiring and put 4 CFLs via y adapters into two ballasts and splice it to an extension cord.

Okay.. PICS

I tuck back the fan leaves so more nodes are exposed. Tried to do research on lollipoping an auto but most people apparently don't do it.
This is true! You don't want to do any kind of pruning as its to much of a shock for the little girls. Although you can top them in their earlier stages of development. I have done this and had great results.

how early can you top? The 3rd or 4th node like you would with photos?

Update: I just changed my grow box to allow more room for growth without light burn. I just stacked the old closetmaid setup on top of a new one. Picture below. I had to cut a few leaves and budded stems. It was tragic.

Older one is 9weeks. Some crystals. Smallish nugs.

Younger one is 8weeks. Bigger nugs., also some crystals.

I should have upgraded to this earlier

These pics are all of the younger one. Internet is slow. Gonna post the older one after.

Edit:: 3rd pic is actually of older plant
