I haven't seen too many FB "originals" grows, so it'll be nice to see how this turns out. I picked up some Original Jack Herer, since it was one of my favorite photos to grow. The way things are looking it'll be next winter before I get to pop it, but I'm looking forward to trying it.

I’ve never seen a plant grow with such vigour compared to NL

Almost impossible to kill as i found out one winter when a seedling survived the winter with temps around 2-5c and 6hrs of sunlight.

I’ll be keeping an eye on this grow!

That's great to hear about NL. I was thinking about doing a few photo periods of NL this summer season.

Ive actually been growing their original NL since February. At day 40 or so and they just started throwing pistils. Mine were very hungry and needed to be fed after only a few weeks in their 7 gallon pots. I have very similar phenos of short, bushy thick stemmed plants. Im actually hoping they stretch a little bit more just to make watering more manageable.

1 week in on my northern lights auto. She seems well. Her little sidekick is a rhino ryder auto. The RR is 4 days, as she took her sweet ole time popping up.

Day 7 NL & Day 4 RR

I've got a jack herer going right now, small 8" pot. This plant just wants to get big, so give her lot of leg room when you do get to it. I'm pretty sure it's FastBuds. Seeds were freebies from NASC. I somehow fucked up 1 of 2 seeds during germination, it was by far the largest seed I ever laid my eyes on.
I forgot I took couple pics of her the other day

Nice, yeah this one seems to be a rather rapid grower. Of course maybe its a normal pace, as it's only the second autoflower I've popped. #3 is my rhino ryder auto plus I just popped #4 and #5 of sour diesel. All in the same space as my wedding cheesecake that's almost day 45. My closet is FULL. LOL

Thank you! I really dig this breeder. Phenos are consistent and it's the only pack of seeds I've had germinate and break soil at 100%
My first autoflowers were my wedding cheesecake from fastbuds. I was surprised by her vigorous growth. So I ordered some more fastbuds beans. Northern Lights and Rhino Ryder. 1 of each going now. And also just sprouted 2 of my freebies sour diesel auto! So far so good with the germination rate of fastbuds beans. 100% so far. Bean always germed n started in final container.

Did you defoliate on the wedding cheesecake? I've heard so many conflicting ideas on defoliating autos but mine could use a little thinning

Funny you ask, lol. But being my wedding cheesecake was my first autoflower I've ever grown. I didn't want to do any HST on it. But I've been growing photo periods for years and always Step on my girls, topping, super cropping, sometimes a lollipop etc. But I'm really surprised how this girl did with no defoliation, just early LST. She is bushy inside now  But I have 2 fans running all 24 hrs.

Thanks Buddy :D I lived up in Alaska for about 5 years solid between Ketchikan and Anchorage. I smoked some of the most ridiculous potent buds up there back then. Yeah some of it was old school grown NL! I wish I was a grower back Then! I bought a 5 pack of fastbuds NL auto. Now I'm itching to find the best breeder of a decent NL photo period for this summer also. Suggestions welcome for best northern lights Photo Period beans! :bigjoint:
