Northern Light Blue Automatic from Delicious Seeds

I'm tired of over-exaggerated claims of seeds. This plant was TERRIBLE. It took 6 days to germinate, grew about 8 centimeters in veg and finished off at less than 12 centimeters. From seedling to harvest was 12 weeks. Seedling to flower was 28 days. Halfway into flowering it turned into a hermaphrodite. Into the last month of ripening it was full of seeds. There was NO side branching at all, just 1 ugly baseball sized lump.
The only thing in the breeders description that is not horse-shit is that the plant is dense, smells great and has lots of resin crystals.
I could not be more disappointed. Never buying autos from Delicious again; maybe not buying anything from them since the seeds were obviously old. I took pictures if anyone wants to see them. I grew in coco-coir & perlite with General Hydroponics nutrients indoor with a T-5 light. Haven't smoked it yet-still curing so don't know that part yet. Will update later.
It looks like I will get about 2-3 grams out of it and those will be full of seeds.
Thanks for nothing Delicious Seeds.

I started on 18/6. Then about halfway through when it stopped growing I tried going 24/7 but it didn't help. My buddy suggested lowering my light (a four tube T-5 with 24" bulbs, 2 standard bulbs & 2 reddish bulbs) which only burned the top. You might notice the crispy look on top. Fortunately the top cola area that burned was all seeds by that time.

I think that's where you went wrong buddy switching from 18/6 back to 24 hours on is a big no no but you learned hopefully this time and next times it goes a lot better :)

You can't expect much when you try to flower with a cloning light! I got two freebies from delicious, one was the same auto you speak of, and the other was fruity chronic juice. Never tried the auto because of of space and plant count, but the fruity chronic juice popped fast and turned out great. Cloned for a year off that one seed and never had a problem with hermies! If I ever pop the auto I'll let you know how it turns out! Before you bash the breeder you might want to try another run with a real light and one steady light cycle.

I've seen that same pic posted somewhere else, with complaints of a different breeder/strain.

Smells fishy...

I have been running a northern light blue for years now and did a bunch of their strains......my northern is a beast and I pull an easy half pound off her every run indoors......sometimes shit happens you can't win em all....I've had known fire ass dank strains that have dudded out before, its a seed, its not like your buying the plant from a nursery, anytime you plant a seed of anything you take a chance even corn......, people drool over my nl blue ...she looks like baseball bats of green candy when done .....amazing plant

I've grown that strain B4 & I used a 600 HPS under 24hrs of light and this same seed you complain about from Attitude yielded 5oz in a 3 gal pot in 65 days.Strong smoke very nice yield using all organic soil.So dude its your equipment and gardening technique that's flawed not the breeders seeds.Peace.

Every seed is different...
There are some ruderalis offspring that stay short + don't produce as much.
Not all the offspring(seeds/plants) are identical > even if they came from the same parents.

Ruderalis genes are unpredictable and have bad recessive traits.
I personally wouldn't pay for auto's, but there are some that produce good quality.

I've got 2 free dinafem cheese auto's I stuck in the corner of veg area that sprouted the same day.
One is vigorous + the other is a short mutant, both the seeds looked similar > brown/striped/mature.

It's possible that ammoniacal got a bad phenotype and you had a good one.
Why blame the grower or the breeder? It's ruderalis, previously known as Ditch weed.
