Hello RIU,
You all got me through the first indoor, but here is number two. Outdoor for all of flowering starting nearly 7 weeks ago.

Its getting cold and I am leaving for vacation in 2 days. I CAN water automatically and leave it outside. Do I risk it with this one plant so far along?

Any feedback appreciated.
The Big D.

Looks very close to done. The calyxes are really swollen now. Have you checked the trichomes? It wouldnt hurt to let it go another week id say but you could pull it now if you had to. How long you going on vacation for?

A few more days won't hurt...but yeah you are running right up to the last second of the outdoor grow season in NE area.

Cut it down after....if you can hit 8 weeks (and I think that you can) do.

Ok, guys, I thought it was close, I too believe it could go another week. The problem is that I will be away for a little over two full weeks. Can she sustain that? I scoped the trics and they are almost all full cloudy, but no amber for sure.

Do I let her stand out for the vacation time and come back to a fully ready girl, or cut her a week early and start drying so I get a jump for after I am back?

I am leaning toward letting her continue to fill out. Its no skin off my back since I will be away, but can 1 extra week hurt her more than taking her a week early?

Discuss!

let it go 2 weeks then.

A week late is better than a week early imo.

I must say, this one was nicely done little D....

Lights are on their way! just a little 400w mh/hps cool tube with digital remote ballast.

Let the grow room construction commence.

Wait til you see the homemade scissor lift for the table I am building. Don't move your light, move the plants! lol

It's nice to see a newer grower that actually had enough patience to get some ripe and chronic looking bud! Good job man!! I sure as hell wouldnt have been able to leave my baby for 2 more weeks.

did you notice a different yourself leaving it for 2 weeks?

YES! I came back to a frosty, purple, sticky ass bud that did not resemble the plant I left. I will never take bud early again, I am drying the shit and it sticks to my fuckin hands while I am trying to trim it up. When I left the many pistils were still white and the whole plant looks frosty but green and light.

I did the first round of these seeds under CFLS. This round was outdoor and I am about to start with a 400w MH/HPS. I am keeping a bud from each grown to compare the look feel and smoke... should be awesome. Exactly the same genetics and completely different grows. I. am. Stoked.
