Looks like your soil has nutrients in it? Miracle Grow soil? You need 25% of soil to be perlite. looks like you might also be over watering. Only need to water once every 3 or 4 days or until pot is almost totally dry.

Curling leaves, yellowing leaves are all signs of something wrong.

its canna canna soil. using bcuzz coco nutrition a + b as nutes.where can i get perlite from and how do i use it?do i just put a lyer of it on the top of the soil or do i want to mix it in. i was thinking of moving it into a bigger pot soon. ah ive been watering it when the top layer goes dry. im using a 250cfl light above it but i dont think it dries it out too much as it doesnt give off that much heat.

Plants are way too young to be using any kind of fertilizer, stop the nutes right away. After they are a 6"-12" tall you can start ferts again at 1/4 strength. You would mix the perlite into the soil, do it when you transplant to a larger pot. Don't water when top is dry, water when bottom is starting to get dry, poke whole finger down into dirt and see.

You can get perlite at wal mart, K-mart, any garden store, hardware store like lowes, home depot, its very common. DO NOT buy the miracle grow brand.
