Normal Growth

Just wondering if this is normal growth for a plant to have stem start to push out from the cotyledon area? In this case it's just below the cotyledon and only on one side... (see pic)

Hey YR... Took me a while to make a heads-up out of your pic since its so close-up! Maybe if you took it from more of a side view and a bit further away, others will understand what you're talking about and give their response. It appears you are in veg stage for maybe a month(?) and are getting branches where the cotyledons were(?)... I just checked my plants at 20 days(big for 20 days), and there are a few that are showing some growth in this area also so it is probably pretty common when vegged for a decent amount of time, although I have some strange issues on some of my plants also(like a 16 finger leaf on one side and 10 on the other!). Anyway, seems it might be a normal thing if you're getting some decent light down there and it wants to suck it up! Good luck! How far along are the plants?

Their right at 30 days from germ today. There is two plants, and they both have that little growth down there, but only on one side. The plant in the photo above looks like a new stem and future bud, but the second plant its just a little deformed weird small leafs. Not that I've seen a lot of "real plants" but I've seen a lot of MJ hemp plants, never seen this before, but never grown before too. Just thought it looked strange and I didn't know if that was normal or not for some strains.

lower leaves that don't get a lot of light often grow funny, especially at the very bottom like that. Nothing to worry about.
