Noobies, research, think it out & then jump in with both feet.

While I'm new to the forums and growing experience as many of you are too, I find a good deal of us asking the same type questions. I always search a few keywords first or turn to my book for an answer. I don't always find what I seek online or in a book, I then turn here for advice.

One thing I think that keeps most of us from just jumping in with both feet first is fear. Such as taking clones, I know I was worried to F it up... However after a little research and a couple questions based on fear in the forums, I just did it as many of the threads said to do it, and now I have no fear for future clones.

I also find some of the best home made DIY set ups and fixes to common problems or grow area needs and most of those I saw after I found my own way to fix up a space.

So lose your fear and take that clone, do it right the first time and you should have success, build that fancy grow room or do a ghetto, just be smart and use some common sense and take some time to research first, ask a few questions and suit it all to your needs, then make it happen!

Good post, YR... I'm coming up on a year of growing and there's so much I don't know. I've invested $1500 over that year (personal grow) and one thing I've learned is to just fucking do/spend it. Start a dozen plants and kill 10 of them just trying different things, rinse and repeat.

Of course, it helps if you have a regular dealer or a nice stash (or both!) and won't really be put out by a bad harvest.
