Noob Stealth Growbox

What's up everybody, this I've wanted to grow weed ever since I found it was a plant(haha). Then a friend of mine grew a really nice one that was about a foot, that's when I realized how easy it was and how manageable it would be for me.

So a month ago(ish) I started and I began in a plastic storage box from target and 2 cfls. I had lots of seeds from very good bud I always saved just in case I started growing, thank god, and here are some pictures. I'm just looking for some suggestions and comments, hopefully some stuff that will help.

As far as the plants go; 2 of the bigger ones I transplanted into larger pots. The one in the bigger pot was once the "better" plant, but fell as I was putting the box away in its hiding place, but I didn't notice, so it sat in contact with a cfl for a few hours and burned the top pretty bag (that's why the leaf looks a little messed up, AND that's why the CFl on the side is no mounted instead of hanging XD) All plants are still in the vegitative state, they are all in different size pots and are different ages by a few days. The smallest one I added more soil to the other day so I can get it as big as possible in the cup, then if he/she looks good enough I might replace him with the burned plant(Or work on getting a seperate box so the 2 bigger ones move onto 12/12 and the smallest one can be transplanted/add a few more sapplings). I think that covers the plants, oh and no nutes have been used so far either.

As for the box; The one shwon in the picture is it in it's lastest condition. I have 2 CFLs, both mounted. One from the top, and one from the side near a corner. I cut a hole in the side of the box for a computer fan I took out of an extra power supply I had (I might build a PC growbox for my "Flowering" box). I'd say the box is 2'-2.5' tall.

This is what it looks like.

Here is a peak inside from the top.

CFL mounted on the roof of the box.

This is the fan that is in the back.

This is the smaller of the two in the pots. However I think it's the most successful so far.

Deeper look inside from the top.

Ite, that's it. Any suggestions/helps/comments would be appreciated. And the fan wiring I found from somebody on this site but I can't find the thread, I'll put a link if I find it again it was really helpful!

not too bad but you need more lights. lights are one of the major major aspects of big yields put 3-4 more and add another lil fan
what type of soil/nutes
imo

I have a bigger fan that's pretty much already wired that I could pop in, I don't know how I'd mount it to circulate, but I could mount it to cool. Are more CFLs good? Or should I used different types of bulbs?

You need to paint that container flat white man. Then black on the outside. It will reflect most of your lost light and the black will stop unwanted light messing up your plants metabolism during flower. Not to mention this contributes to the whole "stealth" factor.

awesome Idea. I started with tin foil on the inside but It burned the leaves, got over 90 degress F in there. Would white paint and black outside still be ok temperature wise?

P.s. Also should I paint the outside white, then black over? or white inside and black outside?

for your small space hps/mh lights are too much so cfl is good for you get the highest wattage you can. At home depot they carry a massive 65watt cfl (equivalent to 300w)
one of those would be good for your spot
White inside as it will give you more reflection and dont get gloss paint. Though you would think its better flat paint reflects more

I found a box of lights in my basement that are 100w bulbs, they aren't CFLs though, but they say full spectrum and put out 1000+ lumens, should I put one of these in the PC box which is going to be for flowering?

Would target have plain light sockets that plug into the wall/a timer/multi socket converters? I could use all three, especially if I make a seperate box for flowering.

no/yes/yes to buying at target

but putting 100W incandescents in there isnt good they produce alot more heat than cfls

ok just some quick updates; I added another CFL to the top part of the side wall, horizontally, above the fan. I also transplanted the plant that looks the best (the one in the close-up) to an even bigger pot. I' very tight on space so this is only temporary, hopefully I'll go to home depot this weekend and finish the PC box for flowering, so I can move the bigger ones into that, and maybe start some more sapplings/transplant the baby..

Can anyone tell me how long it takes for a plant to recover from a transplant? Obviously it wont grow much for a few days after, but how long until it goes back to the normal growth rate?
