Noob question

Are these pre-flowers? I see tiny hairs. Is a pre-flower just new flower growth or something different entirely?These are hindu skunk clones in week 1 of 12/12. This is exciting to watch, lol.

Yep, those are tiny female preflowers. Sweet. Watch for calyxs and pistils to start forming at the tops, because they're coming soon.

Yes it is and to answer your question pre-flowers are a sign of plant maturity. Most will show after awhile, it doesn't always mean it's flowering, as long as the light cycle is long enough.
