NOOB has 2 quick questions...

First of all HELLO!! Nice to finally join the community here, been long over due!

Alright so here is what I've done so far:
Germinated five AK47 seeds one week ago today (Soaked rockwool cubes in 5.5ph water with 1/5th strength nutrients for 1 hour before germinating, placed in large humidity tray/dome).
They have been under 18 hours of light (one large spiral bulb, prob 125w). The light is about 1 foot from the top of the the little sprouts. Two of them poped 24 hours after germination and have taken off! There 2.5 inches tall! The other three are 1.5 inch tall (they poped 48-72 hours after germination).
BUT all of them have roots coming out of the 1 inch rockwool cubes!!

SO on to my questions:

1. Am I stretching them out?? .. 2.5 inches seems really tall for only having germinated one week ago, should I lower the light or add more light?

2. Since they all have roots now should I put them into my hydroponic drip system now?? Once again one week seems really quick to already throw them into my hydro system.
Also should I give them nutrients if I do put them into the system? Maybe half or 1/4th strength? Right now Ive just be misting them with 5.5ph water with no added nutrients.

I would put them in something asap, if you're going with a hydro set up then throw them in now. That tap root needs to shoot down a few inches initially so it is more than normal for root to be poking out the bottom. Just throw them in the set up with mild nutrients, little less than the 1/4 recommended amount. Ph balance your water and you should be cool.

Yeah get them in the bucket, bury that stem in hydroton and get a light down on them to stop the stretching. I had mine in the bucket once i saw roots coming out the rooting plug. I didn't run any nutes for the first week, just tap water, and was using a cup to get solution out of the res and top feeding until i saw roots coming out the net pot. I think the 1/4 strength nutes, or less, is a good idea mine seemed to stall for a week or so until i started giving them nutes.
